Boss Abilities Strategy
Prophet Skeram
Earth Shock: cast if there is no one actively meleeing the boss Warriors blow fear on trash before boss
Blink: teleports to one of his side platforms; threat drop
A tank (and warrior ready to taunt) and kicker will be assigned to to each platform: left, center, and right. They will be ready to taunt when the boss splits at 75%, 50%, and 25% HP. Kickers will save GCD's to kick arcane explosion casts.
True Fulfillment: MCs a random raid member, who will deal 300% more damage with instant cast spells for 20 seconds
Arcane Explosion: can be interrupted
MC'd players must be CC'd immediately; no cleave on this fight.
GAPP: before and during the fight
Bug Trio
Toxic Volley: most dangerous ability, stacking DoT Prog kill order = Lord Kri > Princess Yauj > Vem
Cleave
Thrash: gives Kri a Windfury effect with extra auto on tank Yauj and Vem tanks will position themselves on far sides of the room away from Lord Kri
Poison Cloud spawns upon Kri's death; massive nature dmg
Lord Kri
Fear: AOE Fear, completely resets threat table
Great Heal: interruptable cast
Dispel: dispels debuffs on the other bug bosses
Yauj Brood spawn upon death
Princess Yauj
Berserker Charge: targets random player, knocking back any he runs through, and finishing with a Stun effect, stunning all players nearby for 2 seconds
Knock Away: on tank
Vengeance: frenzy effect to other bugs when he dies
Berserk: frenzy effect when last bug remaining
Vem GNPP: before fight for Kri's poison volley
Battleguard Sartura
Aggro Reset: drops aggro and charges towards random player Sartura will be tanked across the room for prog while we kill her 3 Royal Guards. The Guards are stunnable; kidney shot & HoJ to stop their whirlwinds. Tanks will have to taunt the Guards often as they drop threat for 7 seconds. Guards must be kept away from clothies; whirlwind can one-shot them.
Whirlwind: insane AOE melee damage
Sundering Cleave: AOE effect, doing direct damage and lowering armor on all hit
Enrage: when she reaches 20% HP
Aggro Reset: drops aggro and charges towards random player
Whirlwind: AOE melee damage Once all 3 Guards are dead, we focus Sartura. Melee must LIP when she is below 20% HP and starts Whirlwinding or else the damage is not survivable. Knockback
LIP: for melee during Enrage at end of fight
Royal Guards
Fankriss the Unyielding
Mortal Wound: on MT periodically, reduces all incoming heals by 10%, can stack multiple times
Vekniss Drone will spawn randomly from a bug tunnel
Entangle: webs a random raid member at the mouth of a bug tunnel
Summon Worm: summons adds in a group of 1-3 that Berserk after 20 seconds
Princess Huhuran
Frenzy: enrages periodically throughout the fight; can be Tranq'd Ranged and healers spread loosely so that multiple people are not silenced. Assigned healer only dispels tank when sleep goes out. If the raid is healthy enough, assigned healer will dispel additional melee. Save CDs for when we approach Berserk and burn down the boss. Closest 15 players will be taking 1000 damage per second and need extreme healing during this phase as we will not be using NR sets.
Poison Bolt: hits nearest 15 targets, ignoring pets
Acid Spit: DoT on tank with most threat, stacks
Wyvern Sting: AOE sleep effect; deals 3000 damage when cleansed
Noxious Poison: DOT on a random player + silences that player and all around; cannot be cleansed
Berserk: at 30% health, massive attack speed bonus and constant Poison Bolts
GNPP: before pull and then melee pops another before her Berserk
Twin Emperors
Shared Abilities
Heal Brother: must be separated by >60 yards Threat and keeping tanks alive is everything in this fight. Tanks will be wearing shields and slamming shield block, so threat needs to be watched by melee DPS. Ranged should not DPS for the first 5-10 seconds after each teleport to ensure warlock tank has established threat. Absolutely no DoTs or mage fire spells may be cast on Vek'lor as they will rip threat after the teleport. Kill bugs that enlarge, avoid taking unnecessary damage.
Twin Teleport: every 35 seconds, they swap locations, threat wipes
Shared Health Pool
Berserk: after 15 mins
Physical Immunity
Shadow Bolt
Arcane Burst: AOE knockback whenever a player is in melee range
Blizzard: AOE on random player
Explode Bug: blows up a random Scarab or Scorpion in the room, Vek'lor causing a massive AOE fire nova to anyone nearby
Magic Immunity
Unbalancing Strike: debuff that reduces Defense by 100
Uppercut: knocks random melee backward
Greater Frost Protection Potion: all pop before pull
Mutate Bug: enrages a nearby Scorpion or Scarab
Greater Fire Protection Potion: all pop before pull
Greater Shadow Protection Potion: warlocks have as emergency heal
Boss Abilities Strategy
Twin Emperors
Vek'nilash
Ouro the Sandworm
Sweep: cleave ability; knocks back anyone hit First threat tank will be on far opposite side of boss so that only they are hit by Sand Blast. 2nd threat tank will be ready to move into that position after threat wipe; 1st tank will then pop CD's to return to 2nd or 3rd place on threat again.
DPS must watch threat and never be higher than the 3 tanks.
Save CD's for Berserk phase to burn the boss
Sand Blast: deals massive damage in 180-degree cone, stuns all hit for 5 seconds; pulses out to ranged
Quake: deals significant damage on the ground, indicated by shaking rocks; move out
Ground Rupture: hits area that Ouro emerges from, dealing damage to anyone standing there and knocking them back
Summon Scarabs: when Ouro emerges, he summons multiple Scarabs in a random area of the room
Berserk: when Ouro reaches 20% health, frenzy + submerge abilities
Viscidus
Poison Bolt Volley: spams constantly in phase 1 Start fight with frost weapons equipped. Elixir of Poison Resistance should be macro'd into every players spam abilities. Ranged / healers loosely spread to quickly avoid poison cloud spawns.
After Shatter phase, we split up and try to AOE/cleave the spawns down as evenly as possible. When they are close enough together, we will call for Sappers, every engi will use these to finish them off.
Toxin: poison cloud placed on the ground in a random location
Phase 1 = Freezing; Viscidus freezes completely after receiving 200 instances of frost damage
Phase 2 = Shattering; Physical damage to shatter the boss
Phase 3 = Glob of Viscidus; up to 20 globs spawn when Viscidus shatters; all use Goblin Sapper Charges and all AOE to kill before he recombines
C’thun
Eye Beam: shoots Nature damage beam at a target, bouncing to nearby players and doubling damage with each bounce
Phase 1: carefully position after the first player safely moves in so that the whole raid is not eye beamed. /range 10 to ensure we are spread appropriately. Melee will be double stacked on the marks.
When Dark Glare happens, we avoid his eye as it rotates clockwise; we will reposition 180 degrees away from where we started, keeping everyone evenly spread
Ranged focus little eyes / claws that spawn; melee stay on boss to prevent eye beam deaths
Phase 2: collapse to entrance side, stay loosely spread. Kill priority for this phase is (1) little eyes, (2) big eye - ranged interrupt into HoJ into 5 CP kidney, (3) giant claw, (4) debuff C’thun for kill phase
Stomach: Healers: top off other players in the stomach and then exit
Tanks: exit immediately
DPS: nuke first flesh tentacle asap, then DPS 2nd tentacle to 20% and wait on the call to finish it off. Watch your debuff stacks. GNPP to manage debuff.
Dark Glare: channeled ability, Eye of C’thun glows red, emitting a large red death beam that instantly kills any player it touches
Eye Tentacle: periodically spawns, which cast Mind Flay
Claw Tentacle: must be tanked, melee for a significant amount and Phase 1: Eye knock back nearby players
Giant Claw Tentacle: melee for significant amount, need to be tanked; has knockback
Giant Eye Tentacle: extremely dangerous, have access to Eye Beam ability; stun and kill quickly
Devour: targets a random player, sending them into C’thun's Stomach; kill Flesh Tentacles inside to remove his Carapace
Digestive Acid: stacking Nature DoT debuff; manageable up to 10
Phase 2: Body stacks, at which point player should exit the stomach if no GNPP
GNPP: before pull and use another in stomach
