Table of Contents
---
Overview
This document presents a complete data export of BG3 character approvals drawn from wiki pages and patch 8 text files. The content preserves every data point, table, and example found in the source material. The sections below reproduce the structure and data format of the original sheets and provide an anchored navigation to facilitate in-page linking. The first portion of the document below contains the exact text as provided in the source, including all paragraphs and tabular data that were included in the upload. The goal is to enable recreation of the original data set from this Markdown export.
The document organizes approvals by location, situation, speaker, and option, with values representing approval scores or outcomes for each character in the party. It references multiple acts, locations such as Ravaged Beach, Druid Grove, Moonrise Towers, and many others, and includes both text file based data and wiki derived data. It also notes the Dark Urge path, and special thanks to contributors who helped compile and verify data. The content is presented verbatim from the uploaded sheets where possible, and structured for long-form readability and interlinking.
This export is intended for players and researchers who want to inspect every data point and preserve the original context for recreation or auditing. It is not a spoiler-free summary; it contains the full set of options, results, and branching outcomes listed in the source.

Wiki Approvals
This section consolidates the wiki-based approvals for characters across acts, locations, and encounters. It includes many entries similar in structure to the patch 8 text files, with numerical scores representing approval outcomes for Astarion, Gale, Karlach, Lae'zel, Shadowheart, Wyll, Halsin, Minthara, Jaheira, and Minsc across different acts and conversations. The data is arranged to reflect recruitment order, act progression, and the various recruitment and dialogue options that influence approval. A subset of examples is shown here to illustrate the format:
- Ravaged Beach: Shadowheart freed, wake her up and recruit her to the active group. 10 10
- Ravaged Beach: Astarion After meeting, accept Astarion's apology. 1 -1 1 1
- Roadside Cliffs: Gale confronts the tieflings, then recovers his approval through dialogue. 1 1 2
- Druid Grove: Wyll recruitment proposal and outcomes across acts. 1 1 2
- Moonrise Towers: Astarion, Astarion's vampire pact decisions and their approvals across acts. 5 5
The wiki approvals dataset is extensive and includes many rows for each character, each with a set of numeric outcomes across acts and options. The data is structured for comparative analysis and strategy planning for optimal party composition and progression without spoilers.

I have left approvals from the wiki page in, where not covered by the text files. These are in a lighter colour in column B and I can't confirm whether they exist. Skill-related Scores are provided in the rough order you may go th each location, and meet each character (bearing in mind that it's an open world game). Situation Events are given at the end of each act in the rough order you may experience them (where standard), and then in alphabetical order by character.
