Feeling lonely? The SPIDER/NEST Drone Launcher, with its NEST guidance system, SPIDER drones, laser reorientation device, and an advanced 3D printer of sorts - capable of creating new drones on the field if need be - will not only help you with your mining endeavours, it will also guarantee to keep you company!
BASE FUNCTIONS:
The Drone Launcher shoots out a capsule containing a NEST – a device which creates an "energy web" area within which its SPIDERs can operate. SPIDERS are drones which attack hostiles within the NEST. They can freely crawl on the energy threads, almost making it seem like they fly within the web. The SPIDERS attack both with frequent melee swipes and with infrequent mediumrange electric beam-zaps. The SPIDERS have limited health and can draw aggro, and are immune to all forms of friendly fire. Special reload: After a shot, the launcher takes a while to 3D nanoprint another capsule with a NEST and SPIDERS. Press reload to laserguide an active NEST to a new location, but the SPIDERS cannot attack during the move.

Tier 4 - Disruptive End Subroutine When SPIDERs or NESTs expire by any means (i.e. by time expiration or death) they detonate, dealing 50 electric damage in an area; 5 meter radius for SPIDERs, and in a radius equal to the NEST's radius for NESTs
Tier 4 - Static Webbing NEST's field also slows down enemies within it by 25%. This is temporarily disabled while relocating NESTs
Tier 5 - S.P.A.W.N. Reconstructor SPIDERs reconstruct themselves 5 seconds after they are killed. Works as long as a NEST is active
Tier 5 - Patrol Precept NEST relocation speed is 200% faster
Tier 5 - WARP System SPIDERs can teleport within their NEST. This teleportation has a 3 second cooldown, and is only used if they are out of melee reach from an enemy.
OVERCLOCKS:
Clean - Enhanced NEST Battery
Increases duration of your NEST and SPIDERs by 10 secs, and increases NEST radius by 2 meters
Clean - Ultra-Print Capsules
Increases reserve ammo by 1 and reduces reload time by 1 second
Balanced - Static Field
The NEST field deals 10 electric damage per second to enemies within and the NEST lingers for its full duration even if all SPIDERs are destroyed. However, you launch 1 less SPIDER per shot.
Balanced - F.U.N.L Spiders
The SPIDER melee attacks have 25% less cooldown and they move 50% faster, but the NEST's radius is reduced by 20%.
Unstable - Hiding NEST
The NEST now makes its SPIDERS invisible, so they will no longer draw aggro, but they are also far less prone to taking damage (only by stray enemy AoE).
Unstable - Web of Lies NEST radius is increased by 2 meters and when SPIDERS deal melee damage, or whenever they are attacked, they apply a Neurotoxin on the enemy for 5 secs. However, the direct damage of your SPIDERs melee and ranged attacks are reduced by 20% and they all have 10 less health.

SPIDER/NEST DRONE LAUNCHER: ADDITIONAL DETAILS
The SPIDER drones prioritize melee engagement and occasional ranged electric beam-zaps, with the Nest providing a networked battlefield control system. The Nest radius increases with certain mods; SPIDERS gain shields, health, or damage with various OVERRCLOCKS. The NEST detonation upon expiration adds an area-effect electric blast.
