Overview
For Testing, I put everything to low, frame gen was off and set upscaling to TSR at 100% resolution, No sharpness or anything enabled. This was all tested on my private server, No AI, No players and everything was benchmarked 4 times for each graphic setting ( Night, Day, Sunny and Heavy Rain ) and all was converted to an average to get the below FPS. The settings Highlighted in BOLD for each graphic setting is what I have chosen
Vertical FOV
Low - 99FPS
Max - 104FPS
Oddly enough after testing multiple times, I get a 4 to 5 FPS increase maxing out my FPS. Also a change from 0.2 is I don't get that much of a Vram change switching between max and low
About 100mb more in Vram between them. This is a positive change and should help with Vram issues for people wanting to run higher FOV
All Settings Below are tested at Max FOV and all Settings set to LOW
Global Illumination
Low now Disables Lumen lighting and does look a little worse in terms of lighting, Epic use more precious Ray Tracing and it does put more strain on your system
Low - 94FPS
Medium - 70FPS
High - 67FPS
Epic - 65FPS
Shadow Quality
The Fog Setting which was tied to this has now gone over to post processing and so this setting has changed a lot for me. Low actually removes some shadows now, Medium adds them all back, High and epic make them look a little more detailed but at a price of FPS
Low - 104FPS
Medium - 103FPS
High - 95FPS
Epic - 93FPS
Object Quality
Talking to the Devs, Object Quality, so far it has only a small usage of disabling unimportant animations by distance (e.g. cloth, flags, ...) It also effects some details on walls or objects but very minimal
Low - 82FPS
Medium - 82FPS
High - 82FPS
Epic - 82FPS
Texture Quality
( Does not affect FPS too much but more your Vram Usage )
Low - 124FPS (Vram Used 7650 MB)
Medium - 121FPS (Vram Used 8100 MB)
High - 120FPS (Vram Used 9000 MB)
Effects Quality
Effects mainly Puddles and Rain over lighting, gives a little more detail and depth to puddles
Low - 108FPS
Medium - 104FPS
High - 103FPS
Epic - 99FPS
Reflections Quality ( Combines With Global Illumination )
This combined with raising effects quality really makes the puddles, Water and reflections look better, more depth. I originally put this to Epic as I liked the visuals but after further testing with Very heavy rain, it really can drain FPS and it affected some PVP fights. I now play Medium which still looks awesome but a lot better for FPS and doesn’t tank in the rain.
Low - 108FPS
Medium - 107FPS
High - 98FPS
Epic - 96FPS
Foliage Quality ( Updated 08/07/2025 Patch 0.3.3.0 )
Low for PvP Advantage, Actually gets rid of some depth to bushes and you can see players in them. Look at video for better understanding. Also with NEW 0.3.3.0 Patch, its removed some of the grass and given you more FPS
Low - 103FPS (For PvP )
Medium - 91FPS
High - 90FPS
Epic - 90FPS ( For PvE)
Shading Quality ….. Just put To EPIC Or LOW, DOES NOTHING
Low - 87FPS
Medium - 87FPS
High - 87FPS
Epic - 87FPS
Post Processing
Now Adds Better Sun Rays & Fog which was before on Shadow quality in 0.2. I have highlighted 2 options here because it depends for me if I am playing PvE server or PvP. For PvE go high for the nicer effects, For PvP go to low since you don’t want extra fog or rays blocking vision
Low - 89FPS
Medium - 88FPS
High - 85FPS
Epic - 84FPS
Nvidia Low Latency
Lowers latency and makes the game feel more responsive for no cost of FPS, On + Boost does seem to give me stutters
Off - 99FPS - 23ms
On - 98FPS - 13ms
On+Boost - 97FPS - 10ms ( But I notice it causes Stutters at times )
NVidia Frame Gen ( 40 series RTX above )
For me this is 100% worth with DLSS 4 improvement to Frame Gen, I don’t feel the extra latency and as you can see in the results below, hardly anything extra is added BUT this could be different for some
Off - 99FPS - 23ms
On - 156FPS - 31ms ( With Low Latency On )
Variable Rate Shading
Does hardly anything for me and just makes the game look worse. Make certain edges worse, some textures lower
Off - 98FPS
Performance mode - 98FPS ( Didn’t check others due to no FPS difference and looks horrible )
If you want to watch the video with some comparisons of what the settings do, Alongside enabling DLSS 4 etc, full video found here:
