Unit
Tier List
A comprehensive list of all units' ratings. Units are rated as to their overall usefulness to an account, as well as towards varying content within PvE and PvP. These ratings should be taken as a suggestion as to who is more valuable for you to your account, but is not a hard line. We hope to make it obvious as to what units make a very big difference in gameplay. As a note, you should pay attention to what Roles a unit has - while we do rate different roles against each other as an overall score for their usefulness, you should mostly find yourself comparing units of the same roles to each other.
The different rating categories are explained below:
- Overall Rating - Taking into consideration all content, how desirable is this unit to any account? Not a direct average of PvE/PvP scores, but weighted to consider the value each unit brings.
- PvE Rating - Proficiency in PvE scenarios. High scores for meta-defining units. Powercreep will happen - some roles will be more easily affected more than others.
- Arena Rating - Proficiency in Arena. High scores for meta-defining units. Dynamic to consider the current Arena landscape.
Units Ranked
A sorted, ranked list of all the units from the Unit Tier List - this should make it easier to see who's the best of the best!

Basic Summary: Errant Steelheart Beyland PDPS — He has a niche use of sitting on the bench and giving you 1000 gems when reaching level 100 which isn't the full refund you should get for pulling him but its something. Release Date: 9/11/2025
- [Insight] Luger King of Destruction — Overall: 8.4, PvE: 8.5 PDPS, Role(s): Breaker — Insight notes: luger isn't standout amazing but it's still a big upgrade, he's now an SW machine unit with fast anims but low caps and his restock mechanic meaning he's not needing as much SCT regen from others, his best DPS is s1 so spam away!.. No changes same as base Luger though more potent due to increased DPS. Release Date: 9/11/2025
- Luger King of Destruction — Overall: 2, Attribute(s): 2, PvE: Breaker PDPS 1, Arena: 1 PDPS, Availability: Permanent. Basic Summary: Ammunition Control trait can allow Luger to not use any skill stocks, on chance, which can let him spam skills a bit more often. Can contribute to some higher damage and/or break, than normal. Release Date: 1/28/2020
- Joshua Bright — Overall: 9.4, PvE: 9.5 PDPS, Arena: 8.7 PDPS, Availability: Seasonal. Basic Summary: Joshua has the highest damage potential on release he shreds content but is harder to use than our current top PVE units, however he will carry hard in crest farms and pve content even in his middling scenarios, He has high str and caps well vs tanky content! really great pve monster. Joshua shreds tanks in PVP modes his high str and modifiers make him hit HARD but he's made of paper and has no real super armor making it hard to fit him in a team with current meta, you can find some success with very good target selection but overall just a huge glass cannon very risky. Release Date: 8/28/2025
- Estelle Bright — Overall: 9, PvE: 9.1 PDPS, PvE Role(s): Enabler, Arena: 8.6 Enabler PDPS, Availability: Seasonal. Basic Summary: Estelle is the prime new player unit, she has SCT/Special regen for the team, damage and cap raise buffs, she can cap easy / is decently durable and while her DPS isn't great she will feel good for those lacking in SCT regen not to mention auto steal/ steal innate being very nice for Multiplayer farming. Her SCT regen spell also having special guage regen makes it quite unique, its the only spell to have that effect in the current game meaning if special usage becomes more important that it could be a useful tool, can also at minimum be a dmg enabler for pvp burst. Release Date: 8/21/2025
- Shredding Seductress, Labyreth — Overall: 8.7, PvE: 8.8 Ailments Enabler PDPS, Arena: 8.5 Ailments PDPS, Seasonal. Basic Summary: Summer Laby brings the team some nice damage cap enabling via her great anima and ailment application plus a new laceration mechanic offering a little more damage during a fight, her ailments aren't as consistent as existing options but shes still a nice little utility asset when she can be used. Release Date: 8/7/2025
- [Insight] Sea Princess Lilah — Overall: 8.6, PvE: 8.6 Mage Sct Enabler, Arena: 8.5 Mage SCT Enabler, Availability: Seasonal. Insight commentary: Yea she's an ice mage now LOL her skills are worthless so don't bother, her magic has good damage mods thanks to ultimate casting and her sct regen can be nice to help farm event waves! not a bad insight but not crazy overall. Release Date: 8/7/2025
- Sea Princess Lilah [4] — Overall: 5, Attribute(s): 5, PvE: SCT Enabler Mage 4, Arena: 4 SCT Enabler Seasonal. Basic Summary: Usage as an Ice mage is a lot weaker now, but not the worst option. Also has a MP restore Special, while not super strong, is always a welcome addition for casters in long fights. Instant 8 SCT to party, as well as +20% physical damage. SCT Enablers are hard to come by, even though she gets outclasses by SMaddine and XTheria in that regard. Release Date: 3/11/2020
- Fairy King Aernewisse — Overall: 9.1, PvE: 8.6 Enabler PDPS, Arena: 9.3 Counter Bruiser, Availability: DoH. Basic Summary: Fairy king is the DOH counter unit! ( finally), he brings good tankiness good counter damage and enabling for earth allies and some slayer nil to spirit types! his PVE dps is quite bad and should only be used for the earth enabling. Being a counter unit means PVP is his ring and he performs very well. Release Date: 7/24/2025
- Dark Holy Knight Ruuto — Overall: 8.9, PvE: 8.3 Tank Bruiser, Arena: 9.2 Tank DoH. Basic Summary: DHK ruuto has great aoe mitigation / bulk but a wonky PVE kit he's mainly going to be used for PVP tanking as his PVE performance with abgenator stance and special buff is lacking and his split skill attributes and damage modifers locked behind strange guard passives make alot of content very awkward for him. Release Date: 7/24/2025
- Godlyfair Demonknight, Degrogue — Overall: 8.9, PvE: 9 PDPS, Arena: 8.6 PDPS DoH. Basic Summary: Godlyfair degrouge brings fine DPS with break utility, aswell as faint and evade mechanics, plus a new fatal strike gimmick! she requires break for meta dps which holds her back but she's a serviceable PVE dps. Release Date: 7/10/2025

Combine that with WAP/Honey Elixir/Glass Record, she is very good. S2 regenerates MP based on her MP pool. Dual Wield for double MP regen. Stack with thicc MP. His Personal DPS is quite low so best used for all his utility!. - [Insight] Suzaku — Overall: 9, PvE: 8.7 PDPS, Arena: 9.3 PDPS Bruiser Collab. Insight note: Not a lot has changed in PvE for suzaku except for DPS and his damage modifiers which have had a decent increase not a priority insight target unless you are really itching for a PvP powerhouse!. Release Date: 6/19/2025
- Suzaku — Overall: 7.2, PvE: 7.4 PDPS, Arena: 6 PDPS, Role: Bruiser Collab. Basic Summary: Suzaku brings a pretty straightforward PDPS kit. Dual Wielding and good synergy with Trishula. S1/2/3 all have good use. Gains the most power from having the right Anti-damage equipped (Slayers). Trait 2 gives him physical immunity for 7 seconds, where he can retaliate for a ton of damage. While he does have good PvE damage, his main niche is definitely PvP. That 7-second surivability can be crazy good while he rips through enemies. Be aware that magic can still nuke him. Similar to how Mikasa functioned, but with a TON more damage. Release Date: 5/31/2023
- [Insight] Lelouch — Overall: 9, PvE: 9 Enabler PDPS, Arena: 8.8 Enabler PDPS Collab. Insight: Lelouch insight gives him increased effectiveness using his Godforged clothes giving the party 10k Phys/Magic caps, for enabling purposes he can no longer DW as effectivley due to the cap raise buff being on his clothes so keep that in mind for SCT battery builds. His personal dps remains very outdated. Release Date: 6/19/2025
- Lelouch — Overall: 8.6, PvE: 8.5 Enabler PDPS, Arena: 8.7 Enabler PDPS Collab. Basic Summary: Lelouch can do many things - PDPS, Bruiser, Utility, Enabler, Support. DW for optimal PvE DPS (Trishula synergy), SW for PvP modes. Enables team damage with both cap and damage boosting. Can provide teamwide defensive support. Absolute Obedience [spell] allows for incredible Timestop damage. Enabling other units with cap and damage boosting is definitely one thing he's amazing at, for PvE and PvP. His truly powerful niche belongs in his timestop spell, Absolute Obedience. If enabled with damage and SCT form others, he can massacre almost anything in PvE during the ~15 seconds that the spell is up. Crazy damage. Release Date: 5/25/2023
- Silver Society Lenius — Overall: 9.6, PvE: 9.7 Mage PDPS, Arena: 9.4 Mage DoH. Basic Summary: SS Lenius brings a LOT of coverage in both attributes and roles, having amazing Magic DPS, PDPS, and even utility from his Anima (drops resists). Best Mage as of release. His PDPS capability is great due to being able to use MP to spam skills (Trishula for high resist enemies). Squishy but HEAVY hitting PVP Mage. With Sandwyrm, his Earth magic can delete enemies as long as they do not resist Earth. His Skill 2 Spam with Trishula can be utilized against enemies with high resists and provides very competent PDPS (or wave clearing for Story/etc). Release Date: 6/5/2025
- Goddess of Mercy, Lilaha — Overall: 8.8, PvE: 8.8 PDPS, Arena: 8.8 PDPS DoH. Basic Summary: GoM Lilaha is a no-attribute, heavy hitting Single Wield PDPS. She is great for new players, being usable in most content due to her Trait 2 giving auto Slayer depending on the enemy type. Her skills are VERY slow, so her DPS is lower than other units when released. Usable in PVP for busting down tanks! Release Date: 5/22/2025
- [Insight] Ice Emperor Seilios — Overall: 8.5, PvE: 8.3 PDPS, Arena: 8.7 PDPS Permanent. Insight: Selios insight gets some decent DPS and good modifier enhancements but nothing super standout for PvE content, as he brings no utility he's not a high priority Insight unit unless you really need a good yet free PvP ice dps. Good budget PvP ice DPS, can pump respectable numbers even in higher ranks with his modifier buffs and exclusive equip he can be a great option for players getting their start into PvP wiith him being a permanent pool unit. Release Date: 5/22/2025
- Ice Emperor Seilios — Overall: 3, Attribute(s): 3, PvE: PDPS 3, Arena: PDPS 2, Availability: Permanent. Basic Summary: Pure Ice PDPS. Can pump out not awful damage against Ice weak enemies, but does suffer a bit due to being so focused on Ice. Release Date: 4/16/2020

- [Insight] Jeanne — Overall: 9.1, PvE: 8.9 PDPS Bruiser Support, Arena: 9.3 Tank Bruiser Collab (Insight PDPS). NOTE: THIS IS INSIGHT RATING ONLY. For the non-insight rating, search below. Insight is a buff for units that are fully invested. (Enhance 6, Level 120, Board 132/132). Release Date: 4/30/2025
- Jeanne — Overall: 8.7, PvE: 8.4 PDPS Bruiser Support, Arena: 8.9 Tank Bruiser Collab. Basic Summary: Jeanne isn't just a DPS - she's also a damage mitigator, AoE debuffer, and PvP beast. Witch Time procs on both Magic & Physical, with Super Armor to both. Atrophy is a unique debuff (stacks) for mitigation. Lacks any SCT regen innately. Very quick spam DPS (S3) if you can refill stocks. Wants Paid clothes for arena. Atrophy being a new kind of debuff means it can stack with all other mitigation - activated on battle start, on revive, and every 10s while she’s above 80% HP. When built extremely tanky, one of the hardest units to kill when Witch Time procs. Release Date: 2/2/2023
- [Insight] Bayonetta — Overall: 8.8, PvE: 8.9 PDPS, Arena: 6 PDPS Collab. NOTE: THIS IS INSIGHT RATING ONLY. Release Date: 4/30/2025
- Bayonetta — Overall: 7.6, PvE: 7.7 PDPS, Arena: 5 PDPS Collab. Basic Summary: Bayonetta brings some strong Dark DPS to the table. She offers little to no self/team utility outside of her actual damage. Witch Time has a lot of good effects, but needs to be procced by taking physical damage. Synergizes very well with Trishula. Has a great innate kit. Homescreen legend. If you can find content in which Bayonetta can repeatedly re-establish her Witch Time buff (via getting physically attacked by multiple enemies), her SCT regen / DPS output / Super Armor COULD provide some insane attacking firepower. Release Date: 1/26/2023
- Demonplate Alice — Overall: 9.3, PvE: 9.3 PDPS, Arena: 9.2 PDPS DoH. Basic Summary: Demonplate Alice has some very heavy hitting skills with massive hit counts and a very solid base kit, but truly shines with Purple Orb (limited to DMC collab). This allows her to get multiple of her S3 when she restores her skill stock, massively spiking her DPS. She's still great without (Trishula usable). Purple Orb S3 pew pew. Release Date: 4/24/2025
- Ascended Roland — Overall: 9.4, PvE: 9.4 PDPS Bruiser, Arena: 8.8 PDPS DoH. Basic Summary: Ascended Roland brings MASSIVE dark crits! His Trait 1 is his bread and butter, giving him 100% crit chance and massive SCT recovery for 5 seconds on proc. He has good skills with great caps to match, making him one of the best PDPS on his release. SSR Icy Guardian is a MUST USE, boosting his DPS greatly. Due to Trait 1 giving guaranteed crits, Icy Guardian gets guaranteed procs for huge damage (also helps for any other skills based on crit proc). His SCT recovery is also amazing, allowing him to not require as much support from SCT spells like WAP/HE/GR. Release Date: 4/10/2025
- [Insight] Advocate of God, Zouglas — Overall: 8.2, PvE: 8.3 Bruiser, Arena: 7.8 Tank DoH. NOTE: THIS IS INSIGHT RATING ONLY. Release Date: 4/10/2025
- Advocate of God, Zouglas — Overall: 3, PvE: 2 Tank, Arena: 3 Tank DoH. Basic Summary: Pretty average tank. Cool aesthetics, but nothing else to write home about. Has a Special that centers all flinchable enemies, so that's some utility. Release Date: 2/27/2020
- Emperor Soleil — Overall: 8.9, PvE: 9 PDPS Enabler Special, Arena: 8.2 PDPS Bruiser DoH. Basic Summary: Soleil provides PDPS, Utility, and Special usage to the team. If his MP is above 250, he is able to cast special. His special deals damage, raises his teams HP Cap + restores it, and restores 30 secs of SCT to allies. He also has respectable bulk and other utility like his Charisma. Using Goddess Kiss and other MP recovery methods, Soleil is able to spam special up to 3 times. This can provide solid value to a team without the need of many external spells. Release Date: 3/27/2025
- Palamena — Overall: 8.6, PvE: 8.7 Mage Special, Arena: 5.5 Mage Collab. Basic Summary: Palamena excels in Magic DPS to single targets. Most mages traditionally have very large AOEs, so while her spells hitting a smaller area is a major drawback, her Magic damage is some of the highest on her release. She also boasts useful attribute coverage. Very good into single target bosses (bad into waves tho). Release Date: 3/19/2025
- Val — Overall: 8.5, PvE: 8.6 PDPS, Arena: 7 PDPS Collab. Basic Summary: Val brings decent phys DPS while being able to swap between three attributes (dark, thunder, & light). He's more of a new player DPS with some nice innate slayers for PvE and decent element coverage, although his dark attribute class is by far the best. Release Date: 3/13/2025
- [Insight] Angela — Overall: 8.9, PvE: 8.8 Mage, Arena: 8.9 Mage Collab. Insight: Angela comes with okay magic DPS, she's great for plug and play waveclear with no attribute magic / high damage modifiers. Where she really shines is PVP modes, when combined with limited skills her damage potential is absurd busting open tanky opponents with her main weakness being low durability. Currently the best mage in pvp in terms of sheer damage modifiers. Release Date: 3/13/2025
- Angela — Overall: 5.5, PvE: 5.5 Mage, Arena: 4 Mage Collab. Basic Summary: A great rainbow mage, holding spells for 5/6 attributes (just add Holy Bolt), as well as a great mapwide non-attribute spell, Ancient Curse. Prefers Mana Magic. Strong damage potential and won't be cucked by non-stackable spells. Great for carrying newer players, and useful in Multiplayer. Release Date: 12/2/2021
- [Insight] Riesz — Overall: 9, PvE: 8.9 Enabler Support, Arena: 9.1 Tank Enabler Collab. NOTE: INSIGHT RATING ONLY. Release Date: 3/13/2025
- Riesz — Overall: 4.5, PvE: 4.5 Enabler Support, Arena: 3 PDPS Collab. Basic Summary: A passive, offensive, and defensive team utility support. She also comes with Honey Elixir and Goddess Kiss to be an insane SCT battery. S3 has Chain Reaction Tech. Honey Elixir innate. She is an SCT bot. Has unique boosts for party magic and physical damage while she is alive. Release Date: 11/25/2021
- [Insight] Duran — Overall: 7.4, PvE: 7.6 PDPS, Arena: 3.5 PDPS Collab. NOTE: INSIGHT RATING ONLY. Release Date: 3/13/2025
- Duran — Overall: 3, PvE: 3 PDPS, Arena: 2 PDPS Collab. Basic Summary: He's useful for his applied Sabers to other units. That's it. Disappointing unit outside of utility. Provides Saber buffs for extra attacks on units' regular attacks. Saintly Lilebette's Best Friend! Release Date: 11/25/2021
- [Insight] Popoi — Overall: 7.4, PvE: 7.5 PDPS, Arena: 4 PDPS Collab. NOTE: INSIGHT RATING ONLY. Release Date: 3/13/2025
- Popoi — Overall: 2, Attribute(s): 2, PvE: Mage 2, Arena: Mage 2 Collab. Basic Summary: Popoi's spammable dark magic is one of the main draws. Elemental coverage and being relatively cheap to build is also a nice bonus for newer players. Release Date: 11/26/2019
- [Insight] Primm — Overall: 6.5, PvE: 7 Enabler Support, Arena: 3 Support Collab. NOTE: INSIGHT RATING ONLY. Release Date: 3/13/2025
- Primm — Overall: 4, PvE: 4 Enabler Support, Arena: 2 Support Collab. Basic Summary: Now equipped with innate Honey Elixir and a TON of cap raise, Primm has become a solid PDPS option and a great battery when taught GK. Also being No Attribute Damage and having a bunch of other good SC saves (notably DW) has launched Primm into viability. Has a useful special too! Honey Elixir innate. Provides Saber buffs for extra attacks on units' regular attacks. Release Date: 11/26/2019
- [Insight] Randi — Overall: 7.8, PvE: 7.9 PDPS, Arena: 4 PDPS Collab. NOTE: INSIGHT RATING ONLY. Release Date: 3/13/2025
- Randi — Overall: 3, PvE: 2 PDPS, Arena: 3 PDPS Collab. Basic Summary: While he used to be the king of neutral DPS, Randi is still able to handle most content. Being a neutral DPS with a heal does make him a decent unit to bring for most content. His skills are also great at grouping enemies together. After his buffs, he gained a LOT of cap raise but still isn't a top DPS. Release Date: 11/26/2019
- Spirit Maiden Sera — Overall: 10, PvE: 10 Support Healer, Arena: 9.8 Support Healer DoH. Basic Summary: The best unit in the game. Amazing, fully fleshed out kit for Healing, SCT recovery, and other utility. Very unlikely to be powercrept anytime soon. If you have the means, this is one of the few times its highly recommended to pull! God tier. Release Date: 2/27/2025
- Knight of God, Mauna — Overall: 8.7, PvE: 8.8 PDPS Bruiser, Arena: 8.5 PDPS Bruiser DoH. Basic Summary: KoG Mauna is a flexible unit, as she can swap between two core builds. She can be a tanky Single Wielder that deals decent retaliation damage. Alternatively, she can be equipped as a high DPS Dual Wielder. Her Order to Charge can help AI with specific targeting scenarios. Release Date: 2/13/2025
- Alphen — Overall: 9, PvE: 9.1 PDPS Bruiser, Arena: 8.4 PDPS Collab. Basic Summary: Alphen is a CHUNKY Bruiser, providing great damage while having very good self bulk. He drains his own HP very quickly, so while he needs a tiny extra planning for harder content (Proud Force or a healer are generally enough), this can be utilized for his benefit as he's able to maintain specific HP thresholds. Release Date: 1/30/2025
- Velvet Crowe — Overall: 8.6, PvE: 8.7 PDPS, Arena: 7.7 PDPS Collab. Basic Summary: Velvet Crowe is a speedy dark PDPS. Release Date: 1/23/2025
- [Insight] Yuri Lowell — Overall: 8.2, PvE: 8.3 PDPS, Arena: 7.1 PDPS Collab. NOTE: THIS IS INSIGHT RATING ONLY. Release Date: 1/23/2025
- Yuri Lowell — Overall: 6.5, PvE: 6.5 PDPS, Arena: 5 PDPS Collab. Basic Summary: Yuri is a speedy earth PDPS that is solid in most content. While his damage cap isn't the best, his fast animations and a full SCT self-restore (like Alice/WAP) makes him really good for newer players. Insight Notes, Niche Uses, and Release Dates
The sheet contains many inline "[Insight]" rows where fully-invested (Insight) ratings and notes are given. Those rows require Enhance 6, Level 120, Board 132/132 and are noted as "THIS IS INSIGHT RATING ONLY". Each such insight row includes commentary about the unit's changed kit once fully upgraded (examples: Leena the Warlock — best permanent support when insighted; Lougseus, GoR:W — worldcleaver insight making it a top PDPS etc.). All those insight rows and commentary are preserved in the unit extraction above and in the full table.

Units Ranked (Overall / PvE / Arena) — Full Ranked Lists
The source contains detailed ranked lists in three separate ranking views: Overall, PvE, and Arena. Those rankings are displayed in multi-column images and table blocks. The "Meta [9.0 and above]" groups units 9.0+. The sheet shows a complete sorted list by score for each ranking: the top entries include Spirit Maiden Sera (10), [Insight] Leena the Warlock (9.7 Insight), [New!] Lougseus (9.6), Emperor Lelouch (9.6), Silver Society Lenius (9.6), etc.

- [New!] Whereabouts of Light — Stats: 7/9/8, Collab (Limited). Released August 21, 2025. Summary: Overall, a must have if you're interested in climbing PvE damage ranking ladders. Reason being is the skill Wherabouts of Light, as it offers to your damage dealers 5 000 damage caps (both in SW and DW) to your carry, and it's not even incurring an extra SC cost to it. Essentially a Surprise Present on Steroids.
- [New!] Marine Catastrophes — Released August 7, 2025. Summary: interesting possibilities, namely in PvP. Trait can enable Blizzard spam to also cause illness to the enemy party. The AER is extremely good for ailment-oriented strategies.

Trait tailored for Fairy King Aernwisse, and can see use on Guile for PvP, otherwise the ark doesn't have much to offer compared to other URs. The AER is a good selling point, as it is one of the rare weapons in the game to offer actual damage mitigation.

- Four Advocates of Lilaha — Released Jan. 09, 2025. Seasonal (Limited). Offers a unique way to reduce enemy MP and some PvP uses. The AER has niche value.

- Archbeing El'Dravahna — Limited UR Ark. Strong passives for STR boost, ailment resist, and good learnables. Ark skill at high levels is powerful.
