Introduction {#introduction}
Rosa 2 might be my starter again, i'll try to make a correct leveling guide for people that need it
Impactful changes SS10: 1 handed sword get : Tier 1 +2 Shadow count; additional -5% Shadow Damage (Ultimate mod), gear attack speed on claw got modified : Adjusted Primary suffix Tier 1 on Claws: Instead of +(23-32)% Gear Attack Speed, now Tier 1 +(43-52)% Gear Attack Speed; additional -(13-12)% Attack Damage
Depending of how impactful the - attack damage is, claw could be better than before Oathkeeper nerf is big, but the weapon is so busted that it'll still be a relevant weapon till t5/6, so chasing it will still be the way to go at start Conductive modification is really good to start thunder spike, currently conductive calculation is (dmg x (stack of numb x 1,1)), now it should be (dmg x (stack of numb x 1,05) x (stack of numb x 1,05)) (Around 25% more damage) Leap slam might be a good mobility skill now, we happy Nerf electric punishment, so just as good as other good support now Hero trait changes SS10 : Basic trait : Mercury loss per sec 40 -> 30 (easier to maintain Ream of Mercury, lose 1% more damage per 10% unsealed mana, and we now restore 16% max mana per attack instead of 20% (I don't think it'll be impactuf till endgame (less sustain))
Lvl 45 : We lose 10% mana max + Few %recorded damage (3/5/7/9/11%) Lvl 75-2 : The most impactful change for early/mid game : We lose 10% more damage Overall, Rosa 2 is still very good, will have a bit more tough early game, but endgame will still be the same monster (But take care of XD special, a.k.a the shadow nerf)
60-2 > 60-1 Before any mana stack
75-2 > 75-1 Before any mana stack
Here I'll try to reply to the Frequenly Asked Question, if you've some I forgot, @fatatouille me on discord
I'm hesitating between Rosa 2 and Erika 1, which is better ?
In term of damage and early game scaling, Erika 1 is above Rosa 2, the most important thing is what you plan to do after farming your first 3/4k FE, if you want to do a manastack, go Rosa 2, like that the class is up and you can transition part by part,
If you already know you want to go on other archetype that need money (spell burst for example), go Erika 1, it'll be easier to get to profound to farm currency for your future build
How much damage do I need for the different content Early/mid game ?
If the number didn't changed between SS9 and SS10, you need appro 100/150m for traveler T7 T8 : You can start clearing it with 600m but it might be clunky, 1b/1,5b would be better Profound : I don't remember exactly the amount needed, but i'm pretty sure you can clear with 30b, but it's kinda weird since we're melee and squishy early, so 50b would be more comfortable
Do I need to transition to Manastack to get to profound ? No you don't NEED it, but getting 50b as Tspike require some invest, that you might want to put in manastack, your choice
Is there any necessary pet to play Rosa 2 ? And what are the best pet for her ? No, it doesn't require specific pet to be viable (manastack or not), you just want attack pet For the best pet, there is the Generic attacker Umbrella, always strong in EVERY attacker build The dreamweaver is suprisingly good with Rosa 2, because his additional work with Rosa Trait There is new one from SS9, both are cool with rosa, but don't pull on the Centaur because of rosa, level 1 it's not that good and almost only Rosa2 can use it, and Azure Gunslinger in insane but kinda clunky level 1
What will the cost of mana stack be?
The cost can't be estimated before start, this will depend of the needed legendary, the priceless and their craft
Since I plan to go Fspike for the leveling then swap to Tspike, i'll just use my leveling filter for Erika 2 (Highlight weapon with flat dmg mod and dex item + %damage)
filter : p_gcp_fra|hcbA0KUKEfCG6gAAAAAACw (New code I deleted the old filter, my mistake, I'm a clown) Try to kill big magic pack of monsters in leveling (blue one), they give a lot of xp, its really easy to fall behind in level compared to the area, which can make the leveling quite awful
Leveling Tree / Skill For xp, I would recommend to have MAXIMUM 3 level below the area for act 1, 4 level for act 2 and 6 level act 3
Why Fspike over Tspike during leveling ? If league mechanic give same amount of loot/xp as Outlaw, it might be good to do it some times in leveling
Because projectiles from Fspike allow to clear bit more monster during leveling, which help to not fall too much behind in xp Why swapping to Tspike for end leveling / mapping ? Treasure trove level 16 : you can get grace boots inside, really good boots and you'll keep it for long, try to rush boss to get these boots Because of the damage difference between both skill (70% weapon damage diff appro) I will do it till level 20, to get access to the curse and +1 slot for the fight against Liv, would recommend and you get access to numb/conductive (Buffed in SS10)
Tree : They have slightly changed, so there updated (For yourself, take all increased damage% before any Attack Speed)
Hunting
12 points : Perception
24 points : Rushed
Increased dmg early better than Treasure trove level 27 : Do it till you get Despised shadow, really good amulet that will follow you for a long time, if you get additional copy you can try to corrupt it, pretty good corrode to get dexterity
Bladerunner :
24 points : Joined force
Take care put weapon with flat as main hand
Treasure trove level 35 : This one is kinda special, area level increase really fast so you will want to do it few times since the area is 38, before they are 35 / 34 / 33, so you want to be at least 35 in this trove We can get Silver Frost in there, try to get 2, if you're not lucky before hitting 36, just skip
For the last tree it's kinda whatever, take prophet and take generic cold damage and attack speed for the end of act, then swap tspike
Act 1 :
Fspike / Haunt / Precision Strike (precision is a bit better than freeze chance, but change isn't that insane) Life Source / Emergency Restoration Spiral Strike Charging Warcry, you can also use ice bond (better %dmg but no attack speed), or bull rage (no cast time but no attack speed) Treasure trove level 44 : No real good item to get, just kill monster in it to get level 43/44 and leave Notable unique : Grace boots Treasure Trove level 54 : The most broken early game weapon, despised the nerf, to farm here, dig for it, the lack of energy might be a problem, but damn this weapon is unethical Farm for Lightning one for tspike Act 2 :
Fspike / Haunt / Precision Strike / Added Cold
Life Source / Emergency Restoration Spiral Strike / Quick Mobility Charging Warcry Biting cold (Can also put another empower, Bull's rage, Ice bond)
Acuteness focus
Notable unique : Grace boots Despised shadow, must have, will stay for long
2x Silver frost, as long we stay Fspike, they're BiS
Act 3 : How to be faster in leveling ?
Fspike / Haunt / Precision Strike / Added Cold While discussing with people in Rosa 2 class discussion and trying to improve my leveling
Life Source / Emergency Restoration I learned some really good way to make leveling smoother Spiral Strike / Quick Mobility / Periodic Burst You don't have to do it, but if you want to optimize your leveling, you can take a look Charging Warcry / Lion's Roar Biting Cold You can swap your Spiral strike and your life source to get access to a support earlier, in that what you can put Precision Strike on Spiral Strike Doing the treasure trove level 16 until level 20 make the leveling WAY EASIER, you will get access to 5th skill slot, able to put a curse, to fight Liv it's awesome Acuteness focus Can work on every class that struggle a bit in act 2 Thunder magus You can put Thunder Spike against tough boss early (Dwarf king/Liv), it'll make them more simpler, since you have precision strike you just have to change Main Skill
Ice focus You can also do the same for Keegan if you usually struggle on him, put added lightning instead of added cold, and swap curse
If you don't care of dying few times, you can put Shadow dash over your Life Source, with the born in fire you've a decent regeneration, if you don't have it, good luck xd Notable Uniques : You can watch Mia's video on skip in leveling really useful (especially for the fedex act 2) Grace boots Despised Shadow
2x Silver Frost 2x Oathkeeper (farmed it lightning because I swap after leveling)
Here i'll try to cover how I plan to swap to Tspike after leveling
Be aware that it could be some mistake, feel free to tell me if you spot any way to improve it
In case you want a filter for map t1-t7, you can use the one of Bmlegolas, it's to highlight high energy item :
p_gcp_fra|WhBGwJfgEfCG5AAAAAAACw
In early game, i'm a player type : kill the enemy before being killed, if you don't want to die, spec in more defensives options
Skill after leveling : Tspike / Haunt / Willpower / Electric Overload / Activation Motionless (You get it for free at the end of leveling) Life Source / Emergency restoration Residue can help, depend of your energy Spiral Strike / Quick mobiltiy You can add periodic burst or precision strike later for more comfort Electrocute / Preparation / Terrain of malice Later add some duration for better uptime Bull's Rage / Preparation Later add some duration/Cdr for better uptime
Passive skill :
Fearless Thunder FocusThunder Magus Swiftness Slightly less dps than Fearless + Electric conversion, but way more comfortable (MS, additional attack speed)
Tree :
Hunting : Assassin :
Take dexterity once your Take dexterity once your
4 tree got their main talent 4 tree got their main talent
Bladerunner :
Complete crit node once
your 4 tree got their main talent
The last tree : There is a bunch of decent choice :
Ronin might be the most consistent, you can take either Endless fervor for crit or Tradeoff for Huge attack speed, and the tree have +1 shadow
Ranger is also extremely interesting, Mark+mark effect, Lucky crit, generation of agility on crit, additional damage to close enemy, might be my choice before ES/Aura setup Sentinel if you want big hit, take all block node and take last stand (you get around 50% more damage and can use memory mods to get more), but beside this, the tree is kinda empty Lich is the last good option, better once you want to use aura in your life, but can be also good early to fit 2 50% aura + 25% magus/focus
In my opinion, I would recommand in that order : Ranger ≥ Ronin > Lich (Ranger offer better damage but Ronin offer +1 shadow, which is pretty comfortable, choice is your)
There is a lot of good pedigree, either to mana stack or classic attacker for before mana stack
Generic Pedigree Special category Skill
Elimination 18% Execute, pretty good but hella expensive early Three Birds One Stone Fspike Give even more clear, pretty good Great strenght -10 attack speed, 30% more attack damage, quite cool before mana stack Waiting attack / Joined force Tspike Good early game, allow to take the other main talent Hidden Mastery Pretty good new talent, give attack aggression and 15% attack speed and 15% additional damage Thunderclap / Conductive Tspike Pretty good with perception, 32% more damage
Judgement Paralysis source if you don't have umbrella, 25% more damage, bonker Frostbitten Fspike Can instant freeze enemy, if you've activation motionless or still attack, put frigid transmition and zoom
Static Decent but require 1 sec of stand still, so not so efficient Off the beaten track Insane aura stack Talent, but generally when you aura stack you take the tree Focused Strike 32% more damage, don't use it with Vortex Heart Well matched 25% more damage, -15% dmg taken from proximity, pretty cool Rushed 30% more damage but conditional (1 dash every 4 sec, not so hard) Transition Good talent, big damage Chilly Good focus blessing source Peculiar vibe 25% more damage
Insight 30% more damage Ambition Fervor on Elite/Boss, good early to crit cap Gravity 25% more damage Hair trigger IF you've fervor and IF you use motionless or still attack get 28% more damage Endless fervor Fervor Fluke Lucky crit, pretty good early if you don't use Tyrant smoldering hold Verbal Abuse One of the very last good source for +1 curse
Impending 30% more damage after 1.25 sec around an enemy
Manastack Pedigree Defensive Category
Take care, don't take dex or str pedigree
No lose end Generally it's on blending of the belt, 50% more damage for free, really huge Poisoned Relief Insane defensive core talent (25% damage taken delay over 4sec) Bunch If you focus blessing stack, pretty good Automatic Upgrade Stack fortification, 4% more damage per stack Mana Allow to take Full load, or Mind focus Defensiveness Insane mod once you're block cap Full load 40% more damage, condition pretty easy to go as manastack rosa2 Holiness Almost negate received curse and -25% damage taken, another insane talent Mind Blade Give 30% physical damage as extra cold, pretty good Ward Not for manastack, but provide decent amount of Energy Shield early game Extreme Coldness Extremely strong with Winter Resistance Allow to get good amount of avoid elemental ailment, but kinda hard to take a pedigree slot for this Falling Leaves We don't use weapon damage, so 40% more damage for free Source ONLY if you plan to stack golem and magus effect (so not in manastack) Tradeoff BiS pedigree, allow to change ronin tree Keep it up 49% more damage with Tyrant setup
I'll list the possible legendary gear usable, it's just theory, based on my experience and nothing else, so some item can probably not be cost efficient (Too expensive for their return)
Helmet :
Fervor can be good, always a good source of crit BUT the nerf on the item is really hard now it roll crit damage/damage taken, so be ready to die randomly if u use it Really decent helmet, tankiness and damage, bit expensive early
Buffed this season, really good for Tspike (almost perma 10 numb, good numb effect, we like it), will depend of the price
Body armour :
A classic for early game, provide good damage, some resistance, never bad, but the nerf adding roll and decreasing highest value can make it easily outclassed Really good body armour, now drop on traveler but really expensive early
Decent body armour, some damage, some tankiness, it aint much but it do the job IF you get it for cheap/drop early, you could build around it before mana stack, big damage
Really good before transition to mana stack, bunch of ES, more damage, aura effect, pog
Gloves :
Surprisingly good, make you cap crit quite easily BUT you'll have to activate yourself your empower skill I KNOW, it's a tspike page, but it's surprisingly not bad as long you've some mana in your gear
Really expensive early, it's pretty good, but probably not worth the invest
Boots :
I looked all legendary boots, there no decent early game option, if you don't have umbrella to get paralysis, you can use crow plume, but that's all, just use crafted boots
Weapon :
Will litteraly drop in every Rosa 2 last Treasure trove, wtf is that weapon, will follow u till t5/6 minimum Cool item, but get kinda outclassed, by full t2 weapon on Erika 2, and imo it's worst than Oathkeeper, but maybe 1 oath + frantic, who know
Saw some people going multistrike, so maybe it can be pretty good
Shield : You could use electricity amplifier, but a oathkeeper is just better
Amulet/Necklace :
Now that item has been up (from 10% less to 14% more damage, this necklace is INSANE very early, if you get it in leveling just use it Good option if you drop it, but since we don't have fervor or tyrant activated, I wonder how good it is (but with opening heart its a good item)
Defensive option, I'm more a fan of kill enemy before it kill you Good item but INSANELY expensive, because all Erika want it, we don't use life, so it's cool if u drop it, but better sell it and buy Gloves
Decent dps item, the more dex/level, the better it is
Ring :
Really good early, everything we want Good source of agility blessing, but we either use perception or Ranger tree
Belt :
Good source of fervor, we want dexterity, but it'll be VERY expensive You can use it even without mana stack, but it's just for the aura
Do not copy blindly the code, look the differents codes, see what seems to work, it's not thing to do, it's thing i've done, some item maybe be not worth to buy or better depending of how it perform
Don't forget my code aren't guide, they're only what I chose to do as upgrade, the very is VERY malleable, there is a LOT of possibility to improve it, don't be stuck because I did extra expensive changes
And PLEASE read what I write here, there is bunch of time people ask question where answer are here or in the manastack page
These are glass canon code, didn't spec in any tankiness (around 300+ death rn), be careful can be frustating T7 Traveler kill - 200m dps nzDUI6ZvEfCMkgAAAAAARw==
1b5 Deleted (Lack of save slot) U can swap motionless for another support if u want more damage, and shadow dash for bull's 3b Deleted (Lack of save slot) 5b Deleted (Lack of save slot) 7b5 Deleted (Lack of save slot) 10b Deleted (Lack of save slot)
Will farm for my mana stack swap, gl guys
I DID A MISTAKE TAKE PROPHET OVER LICH EARLY MANA STACK, ITS BETTER, and take magus fire/lightnign with friend of magi
For prism : Take generic 20% more attack damage while holding 1h Weapon, always good, if you've extreme coldness, you can take numb/frostbitten prism
Manastack swap These are value once full ramped (4sec attacking) 9b GftYRqeAEfC7wgAAAAAAcA== Care it's really expensiven don't take Winter if you don't have extreme coldness, Mana sealed on body is useless mostly, if you get explodey, keep it 20b BlvFMqePEfC7wgAAAAAAcA== Hit insane corrode on gloves, changed mana boil to blizzard with t1 support to empower 50b 9GXbR6ewEfC7wgAAAAAAcA== Take care, changed Prism to numb/frostbitten and corner +1 numb, it's because of my pedigree, improved my memory, added a fallen starlight, 100b vRbgxKgkEfC+kgAAAAAAgw== Bought phantom, shit roll cuz chaos ^^ 160b gDWt3KhOEfCBnwAAAAAAUQ== Changed Lich to Prophet, Lich worthless for now, Got priceless weapon, changed slate a bit, took a ring Phys as extra cold
300b 4DY8SqhfEfCBnwAAAAAAUQ== Took a ring Cold infiltration, both ring full t1, tweaked slates to fit %more as on crit 500b fy/0BqjCEfC+lwAAAAAAgw== Got t0 gear attack speed on claw, bought corrode mana on shield, got lucky and was able to buy mirrored prism, but not insane return for now, got a crazy corner that capped my attack speed (30) 700b PRJc96jnEfC/IQAAAAAAIA== Moved my inversed image to the bottom right of arcanist, now I consume 13% mana per attack, really insane, but bit more squishy, using restless glacier for map, feel good
This was the last update before going aura stacking, I'll still update but the budget is pretty high, you can still pick idea but care it's rly expensive
1,5t uRgEuqkSEfC/IwAAAAAAIA== Got LoneWalker, crafted on new base for helm/body, need to invest way more before going to lich to fit more aura
3,5t 3hETs6lwEfC/JgAAAAAAIA== GIGA INSANE CORRODE Lonewalker, Got corrode on belt, bought shield, changed a bit a prism (more mana) 5t tBQM46m0EfCRHgAAAAAAFQ== T1 mana on helm body, T0 Shadow (pretty huge), no lose end on belt, swap warrior to lich
10t+ (Don't know exactly) OxpdqKs3EfCNoQAAAAAAcA== A lot of change, hard to say everything, start changing slate setup for prairie, ring t1, will swap mom on helm for seal (lone walker corrode make it better than aura effect on body) 15t QDWQaKthEfCNoQAAAAAAcA== Added Prairie Ablaze, preparing block swap (Defensiveness/Tradeoff pedigree) Last Update 15t+ xt3E+q9QEfCW3gAAAAAAeQ== Can change Bull's Rage/Fixate for Delayed Pain/Frostshield (That's what I did for SS20), my prism was kinda troll, tried things, ideally would want 4% mana on medium/micro x2 + medium/micro can be pickup 2 more time
Here i'll cover what you need to swap to mana stack
The mandatory you'll absolutely need : Consumption :
In mana stack you need to burn mana, this allow to scale your flat damage (Glacier caster), or your Critical chance/damage (Tyrant's Iron Fist) 100% Damage taken to mana, allow to reserve all your life, tank a lot with your mana sustain The different source for it are : Source of consumption :
Source : Amount : Arcanist tree 4% per casting the main skill (attack work) Hero trait 60-1 25% Slate 4% per casting the main skill (attack work) (You can't get more than 1) Mana Talent (Arcanist tree) 20% Mana cost (Ring) 80/cast (T1) 100-120 (T0) Legendary node (Arcanist tree) 8% Reverse Image (Arcanist) 4-6% per casting the main skill (attack work) Priceless item 15-20% (T1) 11-14% (T2) Slates 8% Formula to calculate your consumption : ((Total mana x 0,08)+ Cost of skill) x attack speed) x 4) Kismet 8-10%
Archmage's Hands 15-20% Blending on Belt (4 lvl 4) 8%
Flat Damage Source : Scaling % Source :
You'll need a flat damage source, there is 2 possibilty The main other damage source from consumption is the Tyrant's Iron Fist Cap your crit, scale crit damage alone, just from consumption Glacier Caster Shield, the shield that always stay on you, absolute beast, but will require to burn 210k mana/4sec, you'll need it anyway You can use these gloves only when you don't use Archmage's Hands So you need to get 100% Damage to mana without Archmage
With average roll, you gain 3800 flat physical damage with 210k consumed on 4sec
Mind focus, you can get it on a pedigree, it's decent, but I wouldn't recommand going for it, it require too much invest for not enough return
With 10 blessing and 25k mana (endgame amount), you would get around 2500 flat physical damage Without mind focus you get 5% more damage per blessing
Attack speed : HARD CAP AT 30 ATTACK PER SEC
One of the most important thing to manastack, you NEED attack speed, this is how you consume your mana
The most important is your weapon attack speed
There will be a lot of different source of additional attack speed, attack speed and the claw are buffed on the attack speed to the gear, I don't really want to list all source But just keep in mind, the more attack speed you have, the best it is
Here i'll just write how my leveling will be in SS10, this is not a guide, if you're beginner, follow the Leveling guide in Frost Spike
I learned way to optimize my leveling for SS10, and after few test, even if the difference is not that huge, it'll make me win few minutes, this page is more a memo for me than a guide
I'll repeat it again if you're beginner, or don't know the leveling enough, play frost spike, this is way easier
Act 1 :
Kill the 1st boss, grab spiral strike, put it over compound source, and put potion on the remaining slot Go for 2nd boss, TAKE LEVEL 2 BEFORE KILLING IT Get level 3, equip haunt and put TSpike
Level 4, grab shadow dash and put it in the open slot Rush Agito, get level 5 before him
After Agito, level 6, put Fspike and Freeze chance Clear treasure trove until lvl 10, equip precision strike over Freeze chance and take Tspike back (Or buy new if higher level) Classic rush to boss, before dwarf king, be careful to be level 12 for perception Rush till 2nd trove, take a new Fspike and use it to clear trove till level 20 Pray for grace boots and equip 2 born in fire once 18 Once 20, take electrocute for the last slot, swap potion for bull's rage, and equip back Tspike Obliterate him
Act 2 :
Take the 3 shrine, (don't forget the 1st, careful) Talk to the NPC, tp to town, talk to keegan, the other random npc, tp back to the area, once tp, tp again to the next area (Skip from mia video)
If you meet some pack of magic monster (blue one), kill it, equipe added lightning as soon as u can (level 21 or 22) Rush till trove level 27, here you can swap fspike for better clear, farm for despised shadow and level 29/30 even 31 if unlucky), scarlet decree is cool too If you meet darksurge, and it spawn zenoth, corrode your despised (can be cool) Beat bike girl, once you talked to her, tp to town, and once you talked to her against, tp to the next area Rush till trove level 35 can take fspike, here just xp to get level 34, equip thunder focus Kill Keegan
Act 3 :
You can drop gear with energy, when you've enough to put 4th support, equip high voltage or electric overload, thunder magus, and acuteness focus (or fearless if level 50) Rush till trove 44 can take fspike and xp till level 43/44 Grab the memory at the lion heart boss (don't forget or recycle it :)))) Once at plaza of eternity, talk to gerald, go to the circle on minimap then tp to next area Do the area, kill the boss then tp to plaza and tp to next area Rush till trove lvl 54 and farm 2 LIGHTNING oathkeeper, it worth the time Kill Kitava, gg
Do not copy blindly the code, look the differents codes, see what seems to work, it's not thing to do, it's thing i've done, some item maybe be not worth to buy or better depending of how it perform
A dash every 4 sec is needed for rushed (30% more damage)
I'll remove some code once i'm limited since limit is 15 maximum, I'll delete the less relevant
Traveler kill Bit long fight, but still pretty good (around 100m dps) 600m dps (deleted) Farm t7/7-1 with this, faster for not much loot change Lich might be better with lucky crit gloves, just discovered that aura on mana aren't bad :x 800m dps Can do t8, not so smooth but can Transition to Lich, energy shield, changed waiting attack to joined force and changed gear attack speed/crit rating of my weakest weapon to es regain/crit rating
1b3/1b5 (deleted) Crafted some slates and some things, new weapon (buy sequenced item ilvl 86 and craft on them > buy t1 advanced mod), claw/sword > dagger, less mod when craft 2b5
4b A lot of changes, weapon better crafted, candle added, memories, slates, heart of magic actually good dps upgrade, but cost some tankiness, so as u wish
At this point, i'm not sure if it's a good idea to follow my dumb test, i over spent money for not much return, i'll keep investing in my build, but if you want better return damage/invest take a look to blessing stack build (gloves ralph for lightning or israfel for cold), if you want to keep follow this, it's at your own risk
7b5 Since the tyrant didn't provided me much dmg, i swapped for archmage, it didn't gave me much dps, but allowed me to scale some damage with mana + new memory/ring
10b Tried mana stack, lack of AS, lost 6b dmg xd Mana transition continue, new pedigree (expensive af but i think it's worth it), candle blessing was interesting but once i'm going knowledge/arcanist, it won't rly be useful, kismet mana not really giving much for now
added compensatory life, lost survival but bunch of damage, probably dawn break better, tried dps are similar but i think dawn break is a bit better
At this point i'm struggling to find what I want to do, i've the money but I feel like i have to do a transition but need to find how and which
Ok, my plan are -> Going icy blade mana stack, 100% MoM, i'll need to farm few thousand of fe, i'll update when it's done
I DO NOT RECOMMAND ICY BLADE, FROSTSPIKE IS BETTER OVERALL AND DOESN'T REQUIRE TO FREEZE THE TARGET TO CLEAR/DPS
Frost spike is better on most of the possible things, you can use my build as reference for some upgrade, but keep in mind that icy isn't a good choice (lack of aoe, need to freeze to have great clear, etc)
If you're interested by going icy blade, i would recommend to have blending "frostbitten" because clear is weird without it.
If you want a better clear build, frost spike can be played mana stack too and clear will be better Build mana stack is VERY expensive, be aware of that
Rosa mana stack is a bit clunky, you need to attack when entering in the map to enter in realm of mercury In case you follow, Weapon other ultimate mod should be armor pen, and helmet seal < Support skill level
Mods to avoid in profound : Freeze (if you can't attack you die), ideally +20% monster speed (league mechanic become AWFUL) Formula to calculate your consumption : ((Total mana x 0,08)+ Cost of skill) x attack speed) x 4) You can check your attack speed in fight on dummy (Info) Active skill on weapon isn't bis, I just got it t1 when trying and i kept it Attack Speed is one of the most important stat with mana, the more you attack, the more you consume
10/12b Was the transition, so damage aren't a lot compared to the invest, and had 1 wrong dps pet 25b (on ramping 35b) Crafted t1 gear as on weapon (rly important), added frostbitten (biggest QoL for clear), new slate that i have to craft 50b (on ramping 70b) Crafted slate, got 8% dmg to mana, so was able to get 100% without archmage, so swapped gloves 100b New slates added/crafted, not fully optimized, but it'll do the job for now
250b (ramping 500b but very long(cage)) Bought ring ilvl 86+ with dream added phys as cold and crafted it, cost me a lot, was quite unlucky (appro 1200fe total), filled pact will kismet mana (+ used a star net to move one i misplaced), changed body armour, T0 Gear as, changed shield for a corrosion of flat dmg
From now, i'll test dps with a low Void embankment, will help to see a more "accurate" dps, but consider iced drinker cage once fully stacked give 169% more damage, maybe more since it increase frozen duration, so more uptime of Winter 500b (1t+ with cage stack) Crafted movement speed on boots, with ss9 patch changes on mobility skill, it feel better, hit corrosion on amulet (gig a lucky), crafted t1 mana on helm/boot, t1 on weapon (still need to change the +3 attack), changed pedigree, so i changed ronin tree + bought candle blessing + steep t0 to still have 100%
1t+ on void embank (2t5 iced cage max) Mana mod on helm/boots -> t0, melee damage on weap and , move speed on boots too, improved my support skills, hit +1 focus on weapon dream talk, got mobility skill pet, started to get some huge corner 3,5t on void embank (swapped pet so bit more) Crafted 1st priceless ring, moved mana destiny from %attack to crit rating, since glove cap crit, crafted the most unethical slate for the build, finally got armor pet on weapon, new slate setup (prairie/moth) 5t+ on void embank Bought a ring timid curse (plan to change intel -> block chance), so added blizzard + empower effect t0, warcry could be an option too (invest in 2nd curse would make me lose (a slot i would keep (candle or pet)) ) From now i'll start to invest in tankiness / getting some important mod t0, prob gonna change iced drinker to a priceless body Swapped fire golem for stone golem, since I stack crit fast enough now (crit cap after 145k mana consumed, I consume almost 230k on 4sec) Might go aura stack, seems way too strong, need 50k fe, good luck xd
Hypothetical layers of defenses I'll build around later : 100% avoid elemental ailment (prob 40% from a slate + 1T0 on an item) Cap block + Block ratio on helmet Holiness + Poisoned Relief

From now, i'll test dps with a low Void embankment, will help to see a more "accurate" dps, but consider iced drinker cage once fully stacked give 169% more damage, maybe more since it increase frozen duration, so more uptime of Winter 500b (1t+ with cage stack) Crafted movement speed on boots, with ss9 patch changes on mobility skill, it feel better, hit corrosion on amulet (gig a lucky), crafted t1 mana on helm/boot, t1 on weapon (still need to change the +3 attack), changed pedigree, so i changed ronin tree + bought candle blessing + steep t0 to still have 100%
1t+ on void embank (2t5 iced cage max) Mana mod on helm/boots -> t0, melee damage on weap and , move speed on boots too, improved my support skills, hit +1 focus on weapon dream talk, got mobility skill pet, started to get some huge corner 3,5t on void embank (swapped lip), crafted 1st priceless ring, moved mana destiny from %attack to crit rating, since glove cap crit, crafted the most unethical slate for the build, finally got armor pet on weapon, new slate setup (prairie/moth) 5t+ on void embank Bought a ring timid curse (plan to change intel -> block chance), so added blizzard + empower effect t0, warcry could be an option too (invest in 2nd curse would make me lose (a slot i would keep (candle or pet)) ) From now i'll start to invest in tankiness / getting some important mod t0, prob gonna change iced drinker to a priceless body Swapped fire golem for stone golem, since I stack crit fast enough now (crit cap after 145k mana consumed, I consume almost 230k on 4sec) Might go aura stack, seems way too strong, need 50k fe, good luck xd
Hypothetical layers of defenses I'll build around later : 100% avoid elemental ailment (prob 40% from a slate + 1T0 on an item) Cap block + Block ratio on helmet Holiness + Poisoned Relief
Here I'll cover what you need to swap to mana stack
The mandatory you'll absolutely need : The mandatory you'll absolutely need
The consumption sources and numbers are summarized below to help plan your mana stack progression.
The rest of the document contains a mix of leveling steps, equipment considerations, and practical strategies for Rosa 2 and Erika 1 during SS10, including act-by-act leveling sequences, pet guidance, and the tradeoffs between Fspike and Tspike during leveling and endgame. The goal is to provide a detailed, step-by-step memo-style guide that reflects the author's personal experience, choices, and evolving plans as they transition from leveling to mana stacking to endgame content.
