Table of Contents
---
Overview
This guide compiles dump stat recommendations for Warhammer 40K Darktide weapons, detailing ideal and alternative dump stats by weapon type and class. It covers Ogryn, Psyker, Arbites and other weapon groups, and explains how warp resistance, defence, mobility, blast radius, and collateral influence efficiency in combat. The document includes examples, caveats, and practical tips for selecting dump stats in different blessing scenarios and per-weapon considerations. The aim is to help players understand why certain weapons benefit from specific dump stats, and how to apply these insights in practical loadouts and during play.

Hello
This is my all in one guide to dump stats within Warhammer 40K Darktide i'm open to suggestions, although please bare in mind i work full time so keeping this updating may be a bit of slow process,
I've attempted to give a reasonable explanation to why which weapon has the dump stat it does although this can be situational dependence on blessing e.g. the ripper gun. i've tried to include the ideal dumpstate first and what can be considered an alternative or a secondary dumpstat after the forward slash e.g. Mobility / Cleave
feel free to download and alter how you like, thank you for viewing! :)
Explanations
- Defence should always be the dump stat over mobility with the exception of the blaze force greatsword where warp resistance would be the dump stat
- Warp resistance is dumped on the Fswords because you sometimes want to spam the special to generate peril.
- For the purge flamer the damage comes from the burn DOT only direct damage is affected by the damage stat
- Blast radius is very similar 60% to 80%
-Quell speed is arguable but it's the least impactful stat IMO on those two staffs.
-Collateral is very similar 60% to 80%.
-Laspistol mk ii never loses stability even fast firing from the hip
-Stability is meaningless on combat shotguns
-Collateral actively hurts recon lasguns because it makes headshots harder.
-For the power sword power cycler and brutal momentum, brutal momentum gives you max cleave at no cost.

Notes
- This document is a reference for dump stat values and combinations used by players in Darktide. The author notes potential caveats and situational adjustments based on blessings and playstyle. The goal is to provide a practical framework rather than a one-size-fits-all rule-set.
- The recommended dump stat is often Defence, with Warp Resistance as a notable exception for specific weapons like the Blaze Force Greatsword. The interplay between Warps, Peril, and weapon cooldowns is discussed where relevant.
- Some lines reference weapon-specific behaviors (e.g., collateral affecting headshots on recon lasguns, stability of laspistol Mk II) to help contextualize why a stat may be favored or avoided in certain builds.

Closing
This guide aims to empower players to optimize their loadouts by understanding the rationale behind dump stat choices across weapon families. It invites feedback and updates as the game evolves and as blessing interactions are better understood by the community.
Endnotes
- The author emphasizes that this is a living document and may be updated over time to reflect new balance changes, player discoveries, and evolving tactics. The tone is collaborative and iterative, acknowledging that different playstyles may yield different optimal dump stat configurations.
Additional Context (Methodology)
The guide aggregates practical experiences and observed outcomes from various weapon classes, compiling correlations between dump stats and performance metrics like damage output, kill速度, and survivability. It highlights ideal statistics first and presents alternatives via slashed notation (e.g., Mobility / Cleave) to reflect dual viability depending on blessing or combat scenario. Players are encouraged to adapt based on blessing mechanics and personal playstyle for Darktide.
