Overview
This document compiles extensive data on F1 24 tire strategy, suspension geometry, aero, brakes, and track-by-track circuit notes. It includes numerous columns for circuit-by-circuit configuration such as aero differential, suspension geometry, tires, fuel (50%), strategy splits (50%), and other notes. It also provides detailed compound temperature guidance, wing and ride-height adjustments, and recommended pit-stop strategies (one-stop, two-stop) across a wide range of circuits. The material covers specific track behaviors, including AI performance tendencies on straights, wear patterns across tire compounds, and the interplay between wing angles and downforce. In addition to circuit data, the document contains advice on testing strategies, test setups, and common pitfalls when configuring for 50% race distance in online play or career mode. It also includes an FAQ section addressing ERS modes, wing choices, and wet-weather adjustments, along with links to a tire temperatures spreadsheet. The overall aim is to facilitate reproducible setup decisions across circuits with explicit data points and notes, enabling racers to tailor their approach to the 50% race format in F1 24.

Tips and Tricks if You're Struggling
Type of Issue Solution Understeer higher front wing, less front arb, front toe, bigger difference between front & rear ride-height, lower brake bias / off diff, higher engine braking Oversteer higher rear wing, more front arb, smaller ride height gap, higher bbal + off diff, lower engine brake
Front locking lower brake bias, lower off diff
Rear locking higher brake bias, higher off diff Overheating (f) more oversteer in setup, bbal rearwards Overheating (r) more understeer in setup, smoother driving, bbal forwards
Bottoming (f) higher front ride height, higher front/rear susp, avoid kerb/bump
Bottoming (r) higher rear ride height, avoid kerb/bump, higher front/rear susp
Spinning on Kerbs others can take Problem in Driver, not Car. Try the options above if need be
FAQWhat ERS modes should I run?
For qualifying, mostly medium and overtake. Hotlap for the long straights, like Monza or Vegas. Medium for the twisty sections, and overtake out of slow corners / short straights.
For the race, don't be scared to turn the ERS off for some periods, as upshifting with no ERS will kick-start the recharge process. Be aware that turning the ERS off does cost you tons of speed.
What's up with the wings? Do they work?
F1 24 is completely different to previous games, and now we get rotation / downforce through the ride-height and rollbars more. For tracks such as Spain, Hungary, Qatar and Zandvoort, a standard 50-36 wing 21-21 rollbar combo will leave you in a bad place, as you're missing out on crucial rear downforce.
This situation is that if you make one wrong move the car can just die on you, but with 5-21/10-21 arb the rotation comes much more naturally, and we are able to run much more rear wing without losing rotation. However, the extra rotation isn't for everyone - run a bit more roll-bar if struggling with oversteer.
Wet-Weather Changes
Rain is certainly a drift simulator in F1 24, but the change list is the same: +10 clicks wing inters and an extra 2 clicks of ride height

SETUPS ARE FINAL: NO UPDATES ANYMORE. F1 24's game cycle ended ages ago. Don't be put off by the wings / roll-bars DO NOT USE THE C5 IN A RACE AT ALL COSTS UNLESS SPECIFIED
Circuits with red text are those where the AI are fast on the straights. Green text means that the AI are slow in the straights.
Both left and right tires have the same pressures unless specified. The order is front left-front right-rear left-rear right
Tips and Tricks if You're Struggling

For anything less, soft-medium will suffice. All fuel tests are done in clean air without DRS All setups are meant for online races but can also be used in career mode. Some tracks will be harder than others. Tracks in bold are notorious for having the AI use very low downforce levels that make them fast on the straights. Using lower wings than on the spreadsheet will come with a significant performance loss, especially on old tires. Tire pressures are set in a way that tire wear is equal on all 4 tires unless the circuit is front / rear limited. Note that rears go off faster than the fronts, and tire pressures are symmetrical for the front and the rear. Do not try asymmetric tire pressures.
FAQ
Legend Wet-Weather Modifications
FW: front wing Wings: +10 on both if inter, +15 or up to the maximum in the wet. RRLL: right-right-left-left Differential: +5 on-throttle, 51 or 50 off-throttle. This will assist with traction and braking BB: brake bias Suspension and camber should be left untouched
S: softs 1% more brake bias to reduce risk of rear locking M: mediums Minimum rear tire pressures for full wets. Intermediates are to use dry pressures SM: soft-medium
SH: soft-hard Why are the wings so high? I lose 4 tenths on the straight! MH: medium-hard On F1 23, DRS and slipstream are significantly more powerful than on 22 or even 2021. This results in you being able to run much, much, more downforce and losing little to no time as overtaking is easier to pull off with the powerful DRS. HM: hard-medium Tire degradation is also higher on F1 23, with all compounds losing around a full second of lap-time past 22% tire wear. This results in the effectiveness of low wings reducing significantly, as the car is sliding around more with the reduced downforce. Q: qualifying However, higher wings do result in (obviously) lower straight-line speed and worse ERS recharging opportunities, and could contribute to higher fuel use. R: race
rh: ride height Tire Pressures
Lower pressures result in more grip and less heat in the tire, thus reducing tire degradation. The lowest pressures are used at tracks with lots of corners and few straightS. Tracks like Monza and Las Vegas, however, require higher pressures due to their long straights and few corners. This is all down to personal preference, but if you're planning on using the softs in the race, you should use qualifying tire pressures, as they're made for the soft tire.

All strategies are for 50% race distance. For anything less, soft-medium will suffice. All fuel tests are done in clean air without DRS
FAQ
Why are the wings so unbalanced? I keep spinning out! Unfortunately, despite F1 22's shocking rear grip, it also had a ton of entry understeer. To put it in Jarno Opmeer's own words, you're entering corners with 0-50 wing and exiting them with 50-0 wing.
Why are the wings so low? The AI are so much better in the corners. Higher wings only take effect at high speeds on F1 22, meaning that tracks with long straights and slow corners, like Baku, use very low wings. ERS regen is also much higher with low wings. That said, low wings are a lot harder to drive, for obvious reasons.
Why am I losing so much pace at the starts of stints? The AI just gain like crazy! Mirroring the 2022 rule changes, tires are warmed up to 70C in the game as well. This means that, when one pits for hards, they will spend multiple laps getting that tire to warm up - the H-M strategy removes that issue entirely, as all C compounds (C1-C5) have the same temperature ranges on this game.
That said, the soft tire is not an usable race tire anywhere on this game except for Bahrain and possibly Brazil in 50% races, meaning you'll be doing a lot of running on hards.
Circuits with red fill are circuits where you will be at a straight-line disadvantage to the AI - those with purple are circuits where you will be significantly quicker than AI on the straights.
Very few of these are tested, a lot are based on memory and guesses. This wasn't a game which the community liked and/or wanted to drive in. WARNING: Do not swap the wings. You'll lose crucial front-end grip for corner entries - this game was an understeer simulator on entries, and you had the exit grip of black ice.

It also reiterates the callouts about wing selection, AI behavior, and cautions around pitch and track-specific setups. These sections repeat with variations across tracks and kerb interactions, with additional commentary on the AI's straight-line performance on certain circuits, and the impact of wing and downforce on exit speeds.
All strategies are for 50% race distance. For anything less, soft-medium will suffice. All fuel tests are done in clean air without DRS. All setups are meant for online races but can also be used in career mode. Some tracks will be harder than others. Tracks in bold are notorious for AI using very low downforce levels that make them fast on the straights. Using lower wings than on the spreadsheet will come with a significant performance loss, especially on old tires. Tire pressures are set such that wear is equal on all four tires unless the circuit is front/rear limited. Note that rears wear faster than fronts, and tire pressures are symmetrical front to rear. Do not attempt asymmetric tire pressures.
