Esports
The Overwatch team won their round of 16 match against Middleton 3-0. That means they will move on to the state quarterfinals at UW-Eau Claire on December 6th against Bay Port. All matches will be streamed at twitch.tv/wihsea

Tacos and Tunes - Friday, November 14
Join us 4:30-6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. Enjoy a taco dinner and performances by One Accord and Wisco Kids. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for kids (12 and under), available at the door. All proceeds support the WLHS Choir Department.
A Month of Thanks at Wisco
Take a look at how our Wisco family is giving thanks this month:
- November 3–14: Food Drive for Christ St. Peter Church, organized by Viking Christian Leader Academy
- November 3–21: Soles for Jesus Shoe Drive, organized by Viking Christian Leader Academy, collecting new and gently used shoes
- November 12-December 8: Foster Toy Drive, organized by Chick-fil-A Leadership Academy, collecting new unwrapped toys for foster children
- November 19: International Fair, hosted by Wisco Witnesses in the World, celebrating the cultures and countries represented in our student body with displays, performances, and sample foods
- November 24–25: Antigua School Supply Drive organized by Wisco Witnesses in the World (WWW), collecting materials for students at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran School in Antigua
Donations of food, shoes, toys, and school supplies can be dropped off in the upper and lower lobbies.
Photo Submissions for International Fair
We’d love to receive up to three photos per student or staff member with an international theme. Submit the photos and short caption for each photo via email to Mr. Duwe (eric.duwe@wlhs.org) by Friday, November 14.
Make Cards for Nursing Homes!
VCLA team A is hosting a flex where you can help color cards for nursing home residents! Please sign up to help spread kindness today in Mr. Gottschalk's room (127).

Stop by Central Office and pick up an informational packet. Representatives from MIdwest Scholastic will be here Friday, November 14 to answer questions and pick up paper orders. You can also order online here.

Musical Auditions
Auditions for this year's musical, Anastasia, will be held on November 23 and 24 and callbacks will be on November 25.
If you are interested in auditioning, but were not able to attend the information meeting, see Ms. Rasmussen in the Mission Advancement Office (Room 201) to pick up an audition packet!
Registration for the 2025-26 Ski and Snowboard Club is OPEN

AP Registration is Now Open!
Register in the Student Services office with your payment. The cost is $99/exam unless they qualify for free or reduced lunch, in which case the reduced cost is $62/exam. Payments can be made with cash, check, or card. The registration deadline is Friday, November 14. After that date there is a $40/exam late fee. Questions, email Mr. Biesterfeld.
Volunteer Opportunity — Aurora St. Luke’s Hospital
Students interested in the medical field or in need of volunteer hours are invited to attend an informational meeting hosted by Aurora St. Luke’s Hospital on Thursday during Flex. Representatives will share details about the hospital’s volunteer program and the variety of opportunities available to students. Volunteers gain valuable experience assisting in hospital departments and may also have the chance to shadow medical professionals in a range of specialties. To attend, use the link here to register. The meeting will be held in the Student Services Office. If you have any questions, contact Mrs. Jiles in Student Services.
