Community Announcements and Notices ####
- Next Wednesday, November 19th, come grab a slice of pizza and support the Class of 2028 Fundraiser at David’s Pizza at the Hammer Lane Location or Quail Lakes location. Come out and support the Class of 2028!
- Italian Club Food Drive — Stockton Food Bank: The Italian Club is hosting a food drive from now until Friday November 21st. We are partnering with Colonial Heights to give back to our community. We are collecting non-perishable food items for the Stockton Food Bank and all items can be brought to room 1336. Any amount of food is greatly appreciated and we hope this is a success. I am submitting this request so that we can get this information out onto the student bulletin. Please reach back out to me with any other ways we could publicize this event. We would love your help to get this information out to more people. Thank You!
- Mamma Mia Auditions: Have you signed up for your audition yet? Sign up here! Mamma Mia Audition Material Master Schedule
- Community Service Opportunity: consider earning your Community Service Award by completing 100 hours of community service in one year to earn a special award lanyard at graduation. Two for one hours are given in the garden every Wednesday during 7th period. Spend 7th period in the garden with the Harvest club and get signed for two hours. See you Wednesday.
- Cell Phone Policy: Cell phones are not to be used during class. When cell phones are taken away during class, you may pick them up in the Student Service Center AFTER school, at the END of the day, not after class.

Additional Notices and Resources ####
- Parking Permit: Parking Permit applications are available in the Student Service Center M-Z side for students who wish to park in the front main parking lot as well as the fenced-in parking lot between the Sierra gym and Sture Larsen classrooms on Harrisburg. Students are not allowed to park on Stanton. Starting 8/25/25, there will be a table set up in front of the Student Service Center M-Z side during lunch and students will be able to turn in their Vehicle Registration Applications. To be issued a Parking Permit, they will need to provide a Valid California Driver’s License, current vehicle registration and current proof of insurance along with the completed application. Our Public Safety Officers will begin enforcement starting Monday, September 29th and any student or staff who does not have a current Parking Permit will be cited. Staff will need to go to District Office; Human Resources to obtain a new Parking Pass. Citations will also be issued to any student parked in a designated staff or visitor space.
- Menstrual Products are available to students in the Student Service Center and the Nurse’s station.

Senior Important Dates: Seniors Stockton Scholars – Download the app to learn how to earn a scholarship worth $1000/year if you attend a 4-year university or $500/year for a 2-year college.
College Applications UC and Common Apps are now OPEN. You may begin submitting them Oct. 1. UCs are due Nov. 30. Common App due dates vary, so check each school’s deadline. CSUs open Oct. 1.
Need help with applications? Counselors will be available in the CCC on Nov. 19 and Dec. 1 at 8am.
FAFSA: The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the form you need to fill out to receive financial aid from the federal government and help pay for college. All seniors need to complete the FAFSA. We will be providing workshops throughout the year. The FAFSA is now open.
Pre-College Programs: Explore your interests with online pre-college programs here.
Dual Enrollment: Delta Dual Enrollment – Check your Google Classroom and the website for information on all things dual enrollment. Also join the Dual Enrollment Google Classroom x4gfovu. Fall classes begin Aug. 25. Login to Canvas on the MyDelta portal on Aug. 25 to begin your classwork.
- Last day to drop without a “W” on transcript: September 15
- Last day to drop with a “W” on transcript: October 20
Spring classes registration is now open. Dual enrollment courses are college classes and will remain on your college transcript. They must be reported when applying to colleges, and an official transcript sent to any college you may attend in the future. Low grades may also affect your financial aid status when you enroll in college.
Work Permits: Work permits have expired and must be renewed. Work permits are now being processed on the M-Z side of the Student Service Center with Ms. Christine.

- Be at least 16 years old

- Be willing to undergo a background and reference check
- Complete a TB test (at no cost)
- Commit to a minimum of 6 months of service
All volunteer roles are non-clinical. We provide full onboarding and training.
