5. Hi bhaiya, I’m going into 2nd year and have started GATE prep with C

Programming by Pankaj Sharma. I’ve completed 2 chapters and practiced DPPs

from Telegram. But when I can’t solve a question, I just read the text solution

since there’s no video discussion. I’m not able to understand some of them

properly. Can you please guide me on what to do?

20. Bro I'm from ece now going to NIT for m.tech vlsi 2025-27 , mY doubt is regarding

my very low b.tech cgpa (<6.5) am i able to sit for internship which usually comes

in 2nd year , i have heard somewhere all big vlsi companies ( Ti, amd, nxp,

cadence, intel) ask for 7+ or 7.5 cgpa in your b.tech , i am depressed rn if am i able

to sit for these companies or not .

22. I am going to a tier 3 private university for cse AI ML , I did many things wrong in

my 11th,12th and now what can I do to get a decent salary as everyone around me

says if I don't go to tier 1 university for cse, I will get no jobs and many people

claim CSE will be dead when I graduate and no one will hire even if i work hard , I

am very scared bro I cant even take drop cuz parents dont allow it

23. I’m a Btech It final year student right now from a tier-3 college and Im

unprepared with dsa as well as dev part, I’m unsure about offcampus placements

cause of this and the on campus companies that come are avg 4-5lpa and max

11lpa, hence im thinking to go with higher studies so that the package I’ll get after

MTech from renowned institute will be better compared to working in a service

company and then switching. What should I do?

I take in btech never gave a serious thought about my future like should I go

mechanical in tier 1 or ai ml in tier 3 and how do I find purpose and interest

28. I am completing my syllabus by the end of november along with revisions, pyq’s

and go classes quizzes. I bookmark the pyq’s I am not able to solve for later cycles

of revisions so I can concentrate on what I don't know. Also doing parallel revision

of 2 subjects (current daily revision + previous subject) to ensure i revise the

concepts where i couldnt solve pyq’s. What should I do in December, January?

Mocks, analysis, revision? Or any strategy you followed to ensure the correction of

mistakes, revise the whole subject or just the parts where you lacked in tests?

How frequently should one revise?, thanks.

29. I’m currently in my 2nd year so how should I approach curriculum subjects which

are part of GATE syllabus ? Although I'll start proper preparation in 5th sem.

30. Also I'm doing competitive coding and based on my progress I know that I can

achieve something in this niche and also doing some web dev side by side. But

sometimes I'm more bent towards cp and this scares me that if I don't projects

now I will face consequences during mtech. So in short does one need to have

good projects before starting mtech or the projects we do during mtech are

enough for placements. Also like your niche is ML did you had any prior

knowledge regarding this or you learnt during mtech coursework only.

31. Starting Btech 1st year with CSE AI branch and tbh, it is getting quite confusing.

People say a lot on the internet, do DSA, learn this language, dont learn this

language, use this website, or something else. Can you provide a proper roadmap

without all this ghichpich (sorry for using this word but it kinda feels like that)
