Balance Update: July 17th, 2025
🧩 Global System Overhauls
Stealth
● Casting Stealth now interrupts defences for 0.1 s, forcing defences attacking to
respect the new ruleset, and in this case, attack a target not in stealth.
● Fixed DPS interactions: stealthed bots (e.g. Slash, Rippersnapper) now correctly
receive a 1.5× DPS bonus.
● Defences shouldn’t be able to target Stealth targets, but damage happening near
them can still hit them (but it won’t hit them directly).
Taunt
● Redesigned with the same 0.1 s “fast interrupt” mechanic to force defences attacking
to respect the new ruleset, and in this case, attack the target that is Taunting.
Terminology & Tooltips
● All "EMP", "Stun", and "Disable" effects have all been renamed to “Disable,” all
“Invisible” references standardized to “Stealth,” and every bot, COMBAT and most
Power Core tooltip updated for consistent wording.

Disable Clarification
When a target is disabled:
● The target cannot walk.
● The target cannot use normal attacks.
● The target cannot use special abilities.
Counters: Certain counters, such as Anti Electric Zone, can block both Electric Damage and
the Disable effect. Counters may also block one effect without affecting the other. T Lock
Tlock is a different effect than the disable effect. It is caused only by the Tlock Mine. Building
Name: T-Lock Mine Description: Prevents your attackers from using special abilities. When a
target is tlocked:
● The target can still walk.

● The target can use normal attacks.

Reflection
● Now properly reduces incoming damage and returns a portion back to the attacker in
every instance.
Range Reduction
● Rebuilt range-shrink mechanics (e.g. Metalhawk, Lightspeed) to use the 0.1 s
interrupt, so defences immediately respect the new range.
Holos & Decoys
● Holos & Decoys now deal Ability Damage on their normal attacks. We are also
looking into fixing how ranks & power cores effect them as they don’t currently.
Stacking
● We want to highlight our intentions in the next balance update. We would like to stop
Glass Gas and many other mechanics from being stacked upon each other. Stacks =
how many times it can be used in correlation with the same mechanic.

🧪 Elemental & Tick-Timing Standardization
DoT & Healing Ticks
● All Fire, Acid, Cryo, and Electric Damage-over-Time now ticks every 1 s (minimum),
replacing staggered 0.4, 0.6s etc intervals.
● Healing effects likewise tick every 1 s, matching DoT timing.
● Total damage/healing remains unchanged—this is purely for clarity and
consistency.
● All damage over time tooltips are now displayed as per second damage with total
damage included in (parentheses).
Visual Icons
● Unified element icons (Fire, Electric, Cryo-fire, Acid) purely as visual indicators.
Elemental Effects
● To clarify, Acid amplifies Fire damage by 20% and blocks healing.
● New Cryo element replaces Water.
● Electric damage now amplifies Cryo damage by 30%.
● All Ice & Ice abilities have been either removed, or reworked.
️ Resistance, Shield, Hack, Reflect & Taunt Templates
● Unified templates for Shield, Hack, Reflect, Speed, and Taunt effects ensure
consistent behavior and visuals.
● Glass Gas—tooltip clarified: increases damage taken.
● Resistance—functions like a Shield (damage reduction) but cannot be removed by
FFD or other Shield-removal mechanics.
🔥 Battle Boosts
● Kremzeek (Green, Red, Blue, Yellow, Purple, White): Damage now ticks once per
second. Red and Blue show correct Fire/Electric damage; White now mentions Glass
Gas.
● EMP Blast, Bomb & Incendiary Barrage MK1–4: Tooltips updated for precise DPS;
all "approx." values replaced with exact damage‑per‑second.
● Nanofrost: Now deals Cryo damage and slows enemies’ attack and movement
speed.
● Field Repair: Heals per second; output corrected.
● Titan Smite MK4: Exact DPS values displayed; no more approximations.

⏫ Character Buffs (Updates)
(entries sorted A→Z by first bot)
● Autobot Jazz & Mixmaster: Cost decreased 9+3→7+3. Range up from 23 → 25.
AB11 now deals Electric damage per second for 6 seconds instead of normal
damage.
● Astrotrain & Springer: Healing now targets themselves AND allies. Previously only
allies. Defense Perimeter set to 4+2 (was 4+4); range increased from 14 → 18.
● Blaster & Soundwave: -> Increased Health & DPS by 5% (Health is now 35K base,
DPS is 493)
● Brainstorm & Guyhawk: VFX updated; speed‑buff duration rounded from 5.5s to 6s.
Cost decreased 6+3→4+3. Ability is now Cryo. Static Bomb is now a Cryo Bomb and
reduces both attack and move speed.
● Brawn & Full-Tilt: Improved rocket bounce targeting logic: now prefers Defences
within range.
● BW Ram Horn & BW Prowl: Both abilities now deal Fire damage.
● BW Prowl & Ram Horn BW: Ability now grants +10% perm Health rather than a flat
number.
● Cosmos & Mindwipe: Added a third bounce to his ability at AB11.
● Cheetor & Blackarachnia: Added overkill protection to G1. Health increased by
20%, and cost 4+2→3+2
● Chromia & Fellbat: AB11 tower’s Glass Gas effect increased from 25% to 60%.
Disable is now 3 seconds, not 2. 4 Star Tower AB1-10 from 50% → 75%. AB11 75%
→ 100%. 5-Star AB1-10 from 75% → 100%. AB11 100% → 130%.
● Cliffjumper & Kickback: Ability cost reduced: 4+1 → 3+1
● Computron & Liokaiser:
○ Cryo Rush: Now Cryo damage; rush applies damage + slow for 10s.
○ Electrical Optics: Inflicts Electric DPS for 8s.
○ Blizzard (5★): New Cryo blizzard that slows attack and move speed. Deals
additional damage to Bots. After death is anti hack.
● Dinobot: Decoy count 3→4; decoys taunt every second; self‑heal buff raised
20%→35%.
● Drift & Barricade (G1): Now grants movement‑speed increase in addition to attack.
● Dustup & Vortex: Slight damage increase; grenade DPS now shown in tooltip.
Ability cost reduced: 3+1 → 3+0
● Elita-1 & Lugnut: Cost decreased 8+3→6+3.
● Firefly & Blast Off (G1): Shield duration 4s→6s.Firefly range decreased 25→22 but
no longer deals 50% of the damage in AoE, deals 100% in AoE.
● First Aid & Reflector:
○ Healing doubled; AB11 now ~40% stronger and shows HPS in tooltip.
○ Minions retarget 80% faster.
● G1 Ironhide & G1 Bludgeon: Taunt chance from 30 % → 50 %
● Huffer & Lockdown: Healing Turret & Damage Turret rebalanced, more damage.
Slowed damage down and rewrote the tooltip so it can be understood. Additional
healing.
● Hound & Dragstrip -> Cost 6+2 → 3+2

● Medic Class: All medics regenerate 2% HP every 5s (not just Flatline/Minerva); AI
now targets bots intelligently.
● Mirage & Breakdown: Disable duration 8s→12s (AB11 increase). Ability cost
reduced: 4+1 → 4+0
● Jetfire Skystriker & Skywarp Nightraven: Cost 5+2s→4+2, range from 24 to 28.
● Omega Supreme & Overlord:
○ Glass Gas Ball: CD 15s; VFX updated; range & target count increased.
○ Rage Rush: CD 15s→10s.
○ Guardian’s Blessing: DPS increased from 50%→75%; now AoE pulses to
adjacent targets.
○ Outer Space: Player‑aimed targeting replaces random selection.
● Optimus Maximus & Bruticus: Ticking damage stacks properly (up to 4 stacks);
rockets now stack instead of refresh.
● Optimus Primal & Beast Wars Megatron: Health boost scales to 20% of max HP
over 15s at max rank.
● Powerglide & Cyclonus: REWORK =)
● Ratchet & Hook: Duration of shield from 5 s → 8 s; healing increased by
35 % (at 5★ max, ~+360 HP per hit; +6.8 k total).
● Red Alert & Runamuck: Passive is now 5 seconds, not 3 seconds (included in
tooltip)
● Rhinox & Tarantulas: Ability now correctly deals Cryo damage. Tooltip updated to
reflect this.
● Rodimus Prime Matrix & Motormaster Sword: Reduced damage taken from Auto
Cannons, Lasers, Shock Towers & Miniguns (Up to 13.5%). Cost 6+2→4+3
● Rust Dust & Scavenger: Ability range increased to match visuals. Increased range
to match Skids. 19→24.
● Sandstorm & Octone (G1): G1 SA damage/heal bonuses now scale; Supply G1
now grants health.
● Seaspray & Octone: Area range increased from 3 → 6 when Tornado expires
(disables nearby enemies).
● Sky Lynx & Blitzwing: Shield 4s→6s.
● Skyburst & Onslaught: AB11 impact range increased for reliable adjacent hits. Text
clarified; Disable to 5 s.
● Sunstreaker & Swindle: Range 23→28. Cost 7+2→6+2
● Snarl & Hungurr: Now grants attack & move‑speed buff. Speed reduced from 3.4 →
1.9 & Health increased by 20%, base 34K Health. Cost 4+3 → 3+2. Now gains +15%
Lifesteal during the ability, and move & attack speed increased from 100% to 250%.
● Star Saber & Deathsaurus: Cost decreased 10+3→8+3.
● Tasmania Kid & Antagony: Omega Swipe now deals Cryo damage.
● Tigerhawk & Waspinator: Ability slows attack & move speed (Cryo); damage now
Cryo. Cost 5+3→4+3.
● Titans (all): Passive immunity to ability damage.
● Impactor: Move Speed down from 2.7 → 2.0.
● Optimal Optimus & T2 Megatron: Disable passive duration cut from 15 s → 10 s to
tone down cast frequency (he still cycles through six abilities, preferring melee when
in range).
● Ultra Magnus & Galvatron:
○ Unified ability animations; Ultra Magnus does not transform, Galvatron does.

○ AB11 duration 10s→14s; cost 5+3. Range increased: 20 → 24. DoT duration
increased: 7 seconds → 10 seconds. Converted part of their damage to
Electric damage. No longer has AB11 on death effect. Made the design to
complex.
● Volcanicus & Predaking
○ Increased Range of jump from 20 to 24 (Meteor is 20, so you'll have a much
easier time getting into Meteor's range)
○ Volcanicus & Predaking When moving out your Meteor or it expires, your
Damage Reduction Shield is applied for 5 seconds (this is to help him if he
steps out of it early, or it expires and you didn't stay in it very long)
● Wreckgar & Junkheap: Revive now a "revive" (not heal); AB1–10 immunity 2s;
AB11 4s; ally gains +40% attack & move‑speed for up to 6s.
⏫⏬ Warrior Changes (Updates)

● Bulkhead & Breakdown Prime: Cost 4+2→3+2. Slow reduces attack and move
speed 70%. Element is now Cryo.
● Drift & Barricade: Cost 3+2→3+3
● Pipes & Headstrong: No longer slows defences. Cost is now 3+1→3+2.
● Ironhide & Bludgeon: Tooltip updated, no further changes.
● Goldfire & Ramjet: Gains +80% Health on ability use.
● Jumpstream & Scrapper: Cost from 4+1→3+1
● Hot Spot & Tantrum: Now gains +80% Health on charge, and cost 4+2→3+3
● Sludge & Straxus: Cost 5+3→4+2
● Inferno & Rodimus Unicronus: Gain +30 % Health when rushing into combat.
● Twin Twist & Colegon: Now grants both attack & move speed to compensate for the
fix (read below in the fixes section).
⏫ COMBAT Buffs (Updates)

● Bashbreaker & Gabu: DoT now 15% DPS/sec for 5s (25% more per cast).
● Dile & Overkill: Breath range 2.3→4.5; Fire DoT ticks every 1s; self‑heal
15%→50%.
● Firedrive & Blowpipe (and Cosmic Rust; Nightstick & Fracas; Pinpointer & Singe;
Tricerashot & Heartburn; Spoilsport & Aimless; Stylor & Sunbeam; Flak &
Cratermaker): Now boost all DPS types (Electric, Cryo, Acid, Fire.).
● Glitch & Gatorface: Glass Gas scaling adjusted to 10/20/30/40%.
● Nightstalker & Ravage: Enter stealth every 10s for 5s; deal double damage while
stealthed.
● Victory Leo & Tigerchest: Now affect Ranged Special bots; equipping Star
Saber/Deathsaurus grants +15% Health.

All “Cheer” effects have been removed (they were granting unintended
damage reduction and weren’t shown in the tooltip).
○ Hack Pulse
■ Now a single pulse on cast (no Smash damage).
■ Pulse duration and DPS bonus scale by star rating:
● 2★–3★: 4 s pulse, +30 % DPS
● 4★: 8 s pulse, +40 % DPS
● 5★: 12 s pulse, +50 % DPS
○ G1 “Golden Coating”
Updated to:
“Coat yourself in gold, increasing Health by X % (per ability level) and gain a
reflection shield, reflecting 30 % / 40 % / 50 % / 65 % of all incoming damage.
Reapplies every 10 seconds.”
○ Reduced Health from 53,000 → 37,200 to align with other Melee Special
bots.
● Bluestreak & Wildrider: Health‑removal debuff removed. Now reduces attack and
move speed only up to 10%/20%/30% for 20s. Ability cost updated from 5+3→3+4.
Damage was roughly 500 more damage than tooltip mentioned, also fixed.
● BW Silverbolt & Cicadacon: Ability cost increased: 3+3 → 4+3
● Big Daddy & Ground Hog: Attack range 28→15; overall range reduced to prevent
out‑of‑bounds hiding.
● Computron & Liokaiser: Hack is now countered by anti-hack. Also no longer has a
stealth passive.
● Grapple & Dirtbag (G1): Mine spawn interval 10s→30s.
● Leo Prime & Predacon Inferno: Removed AB1–10 speed buffs (moved to AB11);
DPS 1900→864; range 28→24; cost 7+4.
● Lightspeed & Ironbison: Range reduction adjusted to 95% (was 100%).
● Optimal Optimus & T2 Megatron: Range 19→15; Cost 7+2→7+3; AB11 updated
no longer wide explosives, fire lasts for 13s not 10. Freeze is now a ‘Disable’.
● Ruination & God Neptune: Removed Water damage.
○ God Sting: Removed Tidal Wave effects; now applies 10s disable & Electric
DoT on charge.
○ Tidal Wave: No longer reduces building stats or extends disables; now grants
+40% absorption shield for 5s; area radius 8→5. Range reduced from 12→5
○ God Splitter: Damage 50%↓; no explosions on disabled enemies; after-death
moved to the 5-Star.
○ Wrecker’s Assault: Increased Health & DPS of decoys.
● Swoop & Scourge: No longer a chain disable - will prefer to disable those that don’t
have it. Those who get it can’t be disabled for 10 seconds (it’s a 6-second disable, so
4 seconds of freedom).

● Seaspray & Octopunch: Now deals the damage that the tooltip says. Previously,
this was doing way too much damage. We are currently monitoring this change once
it goes live, we don’t want to “gut” any bots we’ve done nerfs too.
● Scouts: No longer disable lock; all Scouts now mirror the Chromia/Felbat 3 s disable
on a 5 s CD. Base range slightly increased.
● Smokescreen & Brake-neck: AB11 no longer applies Glass Gas. Rescaled
execute: 2/3 Star: 20% (AB11 30%) / 4-Star: 30% (AB11 40%) / 5-Star: 40% (AB11
50%)
● Tasmania Kid & Antagony: Ability cost increased: 2+3
● Tracks & Cutthroat: Cost 2+5→2+7
● Trailbreaker & Exhaust: Cost 3+2→4+2

● Combiner’s Decoys: Can no longer trigger Combiner Beacon (only Level 3 ever
worked; Levels 1 & 2 are now consistent).
● Cheetor & Blackarachnia: Added overkill protection.
● Defensor & Abominus: Jump ability always deals Acid damage; tooltips and disable
now standardized; VFX corrected.
● Firedrive & Blowpipe: Dealing 20% less damage to walls.
● Forge of Solus Prime: Hack immunity applies at all star levels.
● G1 Optimus Prime & G1 Megatron: Standardized disable template; tooltips
updated; no power change.
● Grapple & Dirtbag: Mine explosion damage correct tooltip numbers.
● Golden Lagoon: No longer stacks with other reflection effects.
● Hoist & Crankcase: Healing aligned to 1s ticks; range fixed for 5★.
● Hot Rod & Nemesis Prime: Invuln shield now removable by FFD; classified

● Punch & Counterpunch: Stealth & disable timers unified; stun duration rescaled.

● Raiden & Dinoking: Call ability now defends against Acid Damage, not Water (60%
-> 30%)

● Runge & Shrute: Now count as shield; grants over time instead of every 0.5s.
● Rust Dust & Scavenger: Ability range increased to match visuals.
● SB Megatron & SB Optimus: No longer reduces movement speed.
● Sawtooth & Zori: AoE now correctly scales with DPS buffs.
● Sentius Twins: AI now prefers attack‑based Defenses over resource buildings.
● Seaspray & Octone: Now deals the damage mentioned in the tooltip. Was
previously dealing ~5K per second tooltip did not mention this.
● SG Jetfire & SG Thundercracker: Drones now use Shield VFX.
● Smokescreen & Brake-neck: Fixed inconsistencies with the execute if Damage
Reduction was applied to the target.
● Sixgun & Triggerhappy: Damage now matches tooltip.
● Sky Reign & Galvatronus: Invuln shield lasted for 15s→10s; now correctly reflects
tooltip. Fixed Maelstorm’s long delay; now casts immediately on target.
● Skyburst & Ram Horn BW: See Character Buffs; fix mirrored here.
● Slash & Rippersnapper: Stealth duration 5s→15s per tooltip.
● Shieldbarrier & Doublecrosser: Shield distributed every 15s (was 1s).
● Silverbolt & Thundercracker: Swapped preset system; damage matches tooltip.
● Springer & Astrotrain: Fixed healing numbers, and tooltip.
● Snarl & Hungurr: Fixed as it wasn’t recognised as Fire in some cases.
● Strafe & Thrust: Targeting AI tweaked to prefer attack‑based Defenses.
● Striker Role: Now correctly increases Smash DPS.
● Stormclash & Viper: Both are now Acid.
● Squad Cores (Aerial & DPS): Now boost Fire, Acid & Electric DPS.
● Trailbreaker & Exhaust: Reflect shield no longer grants disable immunity.
● Twin Twist & Coelagon: Fixed an issue where the 100% attack and range would
stack (not intended).
● Vector Prime & Nova Prime: Holograms increased durability.
● Wheeljack & Ratchet: Speed buff scaling fixed, was always 6s.
● Windblade & Divebomb: Speed normalized to 1.7.
Clarifications
● Laser Optimus: Second bounce never scales with ranks (it doesn’t reference the Bot
on bounce—standard for all bounce mechanics).
● Roadbuster: Only removes active shields for X s as originally worded—no change,
they can be reapplied.
● Cryo effects: Often paired with a slow; not all Cryo must do damage. Rhinox’s tooltip
stays.
● Inferno: Tooltip now clearly states final‑target damage.

● Nova/Vector Prime: Make sure you’re on the latest build—clones still explode exactly
×4 base damage only.
● Bots like Cliffjumper etc, will get their love with their 5-Stars.

● Tigerchest & Victory Leo: Can only be equipped to Ranged Special only.
We’ve renamed bot classes in Specials to “Ranged Special” and “Melee Special”.

● The last enemy Titans is now 4 star level 24.
Metroplex / Trypticon
● Fire Ball (Level 4): Increased impact damage (DoT not affected).
The Ark / Nemesis
● Energo Beam: Damage reduced by 20%.
● Shattering Rain: Damage reduced by 33%.
Melting Beam:
● Fixed an issue where the beam’s damage wasn’t being applied consistently.
● Increased overall damage by 33%.
Tooltip Updates Metroplex / Trypticon Updated tooltips for:

● Null Ray Explosion
● Photon Beam
● Bouncing Beam
