OVERWATCH 2
Recommended FOV for Overwatch: 103 overwatch
ABOUT THIS ROUTINE
A well-rounded routine for supplementary aim improvement in Overwatch 2. Involves various Dynamic
scenarios with challenging applications in-game. There is also a strong emphasis on reading skills through reactive and dynamic dominant tasks. We hope that this routine will help you in your Overwatch improvement process.
RECOMMENDED BY VT DOVE
Dove is a professional Overwatch League Player for Paris Eternal and a Voltaic Member. Former Grandmaster on the Voltaic Benchmarks.
VT OVERWATCH 2 ROUTINE
PROVIDED BY VT MEMBERS: DOVE, KABE, LAB, TORJE, HAUNTR, MATTY, RIGSYCHU
Dove is a pro OWL player and former Grandmaster on the Voltaic Benchmarks. Kabe (Nova), Lab (Grandmaster) and Hauntr are all 4.4-4.6K Overwatch Ladder players, with many top scores on Aim Training. Hauntrin in particular holds world records on many tracking scenarios. Matty is a top 500 Overwatch Player and holds many World Records in Aim Training, achieving both Celestial and Astra Complete. Torje is another top player ranking Nova on our benchmarks. Rigsychu is also a 4.5K Peak Hitscan Overwatch Player.
WHY PLAY THESE ROUTINES?
These routines should give you a solid foundation of every aiming technique prevalent in Overwatch so you are well prepared when playing the game. It is effective practice because it isolates and includes scenarios that are very closely related to in-game situations, such as Glidetrack where you need to track a target precisely and accurately so you can maximize your damage output. Blinktrack, Pilltrack and Axitrack also add important elements like smooth and fast tracking with fast reacting to blinks and near-instant acceleration movement changes. This applies to heroes like Soldier and Tracer. Smoothness is always useful and helps you use the right amount of tension so it’s easier to be precise.
The Multi Clicking scenarios such as Angleshot Multi, Axishot Multi and Surgeshot Multi should help you focus on reading a target and constantly reacting to its direction changes, while timing your clicks consecutively on the target to eliminate it (Cassidy/ Ashe). Certain types of switching scenarios have some application for Overwatch as well, because you learn to read targets, acquire them and switch quickly then eliminate them efficiently. This means you can increase your DPS, and uptime to add pressure to the enemy team. The clicking scenarios apply to all the click-type heroes such as Widowmaker, Cassidy, Ashe and even Sojourn with her Railgun.
* Certain scenarios and their respective explanation will be covered in future routines

SPLITGATE
Recommended FOV for Splitgate: 103-120 overwatch
ABOUT THIS ROUTINE
This routine involves multiple switching tasks to start off so you can work on your speed and evasive target switching. It also includes dynamic clicking tasks with hard to hit patterns that offer more challenges as you’ll be able to focus on your target acquisition as well as your reading skills on hard to hit targets (useful for when you use any clicking weapon such as the Pistol, Sniper and Shotgun). We’ve added a brand new subcategory of aiming tasks called multiclicking, these tasks involve higher-ttk clicking targets. On these tasks you have to click a target at least 3 times before it gets eliminated. The multiclicking tasks are the favourites of this routine, as it closely resembles the type of aiming you need to be good at in Splitgate. Finally, we included some tracking tasks to improve your reactivity, so you can track targets that make sporadic movements or change directions often in their strafes as well as some precision tasks to improve your precise tracking skills (mostly useful for fully automatic weapons such as the AR; the reactivity and precision can also help with other weapons).

VALORANT
Recommended FOV for Valorant: 103-120 Valorant
RECOMMENDED AND CREATED WITH VT CARTOON, TRUSTEMIX, AND BARDOZ
Cartoon, BardOZ and Trustemix are all World Record Holders or former world record holders of many Static scenarios in Aim Training and many other scenarios. Bardoz was a former Valorant Pro, and all the players have peaked at Radiant and played at a high level in Valorant.
ABOUT THIS ROUTINE
In VALORANT a players’ level of aim competency stands as one of the primary distinguishing factors within their overall skillset. But a subset of aim that remains difficult to train within the game itself is mouse control, which is rarely addressed and improved upon in detail. This is coupled with the fact that there's a whole gamut of attributes that make a great player outside of mouse control and even aiming, which means that your time in VALORANT is best spent addressing these factors. The Voltaic x Aim Lab VALORANT routine will offer purposefully isolated mouse control training specific to aiming in VALORANT, with repetition that vastly outpaces what could be achieved within the game itself. The first routine is a warm-up routine which you can play at any level. The second routine is a more advanced routine that is recommended for diamond or above, but it is also playable at any level.
PROPER ROUTINE USAGE
Note that these routines are only supplementary and playing them alone will not improve your aim; you must play these in conjunction with VALORANT. It is highly recommended to use this routine in combination with Deathmatch, this way you can effectively translate the movements learned towards the game. Beyond this it’s important that, as a VALORANT player aspiring to succeed, aiming ability alone is not what makes a great player. Because of this, 5v5 competitive modes like ranked, scrimmages, and matches should be the bulk of your time spent on improving at the game. Ideally, you will want to be playing Aim Lab, Deathmatch and VALORANT each day to hone your skills. Recommended ordering for these tasks would be either as previously listed, or utilizing the VT Cartoon VALORANT Warm-up Routine prior to playing VALORANT, then Deathmatch and Ranked, concluding with the full routine prior to logging off and preferably before you go to sleep.
TIP
You may adjust the time spent on each task to your liking. We recommend spending no longer than 40 minutes, because spending too much time on Aim Training will result in diminishing returns.

VOLTAIC x CARTOON VALORANT WARM-UP ROUTINE
Recommended and playable at any level
This warm-up routine is provided by Cartoon
BEFORE YOU START
Straight to the point warm-up, this routine is meant to be short, no longer than 15 minutes. With tasks covering precise micro-corrections and click-timing mixed with speedy flicks on a wide array of angles. Cartoon recommends short intensive warmups followed by deathmatch games as the best way to prepare for ranked sessions.

Duration:12 minutes
1. VT berryTS Valorant - 3minutes
- Description: A speed switching task containing three spherical targets with five health points each. Each target will conduct a slow horizontal strafe that will only change direction when the target makes contact with the map’s walls. The map itself is a deep and wide rectangular prism, and the player’s weapon is fully automatic.
- How: Successful completion of this task involves three primary objectives: tracking the target up to its elimination, timing your switch to the next target precisely, and landing your initial flick. Your bind for firing your weapon (default mouse 1) should be held for the duration of the task.
- Optional: It is recommended to use left CTRL to shoot instead of LMB
- Why: This task improves target acquisition and speed. It also helps you in those situations where you need to spray transfer, which could happen when your opponents are pushing the site that you’re holding. The movements in this task are also good for general smooth crosshair placement.
2. VT Sky Dots Micro 30% Smaller - 3minutes
- Description: A dynamic clicking task containing two targets with a single health point each. Both targets will execute moderately fast horizontal strafes that will only change direction when the target makes contact with the map’s walls. The map itself is a deep and narrow rectangular prism, and the player’s weapon is semi-automatic.
- How: Mouse movements for this scenario will be very similar to that of a static scenario—chaining initial flicks and micro-corrections together from one fixed point to the next. The differing element here is that the fixed point should be marginally leading the target, and the click will be timed with the target meeting your crosshair.
- Why: This task teaches how to micro flick between two moving targets efficiently.
3. VT Floating Dots Goated Valorant - 3minutes
- Description: A dynamic clicking task containing six targets with a single health point each. All targets will execute moderately fast horizontal strafes that will only change direction when the target makes contact with the map’s walls. The map itself is a shallow and wide rectangular prism with angled corners. The player’s weapon is semi-automatic and accuracy is factored into the final score.
- How: Mouse movements for this scenario will be very similar to that of a static scenario—chaining initial flicks and micro-corrections together from one fixed point to the next. The differing element here is that the fixed point should be marginally leading the target, and the click will be timed with the target meeting your crosshair.
- Why: This task improves your reading, click-timing and precision skills on fast long strafing targets.
4. VT 1w2ts Smallflicks Valorant - 3minutes
- Description: A static clicking task containing two targets with a single health point each. Both targets will respawn relatively close to each other on a flat plane set in front of the player. The player’s weapon is semi-automatic and accuracy is factored into the final score.
- How: The typical fundamentals of static reign mostly true for this scenario: an initial flick followed by a micro-correction, with your next targets in mind. However there will be times where the bot spawns are close enough that a micro-correction is not required, and should actively be avoided.
- Why: Trains small accurate flicks between two targets, and also helps with fast crosshair readjustment between two positions in the actual game.

- Why: Improves your horizontal smoothness and reactivity to help you react quickly to direction changes.
4. VT ww3t Pokeball Valorant - 3minutes (25% Faster Sens optional )
- Description: Three medium to small targets on a wide wall that have instant regenerative health.

- Why: This task teaches how to micro flick between two moving targets efficiently.
3. VT 1w2ts Smallflicks CSGO - 3minutes
4. VT Sky Dots Micro CSGO - 3minutes

VOLTAIC ENHANCED APEX ROUTINE
PROVIDED BY VT WRTHCRW
Wrthcrw is an established Apex Legends Player & Coach, who specializes in individual mechanics such as movement, aim and positioning.
ABOUT THIS ROUTINE
An enhanced Apex Training that will help you develop all the core aiming skills that are relevant to Apex Legends. This training was designed to be time effective and help elevate Apex Players of all skill levels. For instance, JumpPad Apex simulates tracking targets following trajectories similar to those of players using Jump Pads in Apex Legends. Close Fast Strafes Apex, Apextrack, and AirXYZ also introduce crucial elements like smooth and rapid tracking with quick responses to changes in movement. These skills are beneficial when using fully automatic guns in Apex, such as the Volt, CAR, R301, and R99, as they enhance smoothness and stability, making it easier to maintain precision. Both Wide Angle Tracking and Side to Side Tracking are highly recommended, especially for aiming at challenging angles. Multi Clicking scenarios, like ApexTargetClick help you concentrate on tracking a target and continually adjusting to its changing direction. You’ll practice timing your clicks consecutively to eliminate the target. This training is applicable to most single-fire weapons in Apex, such as the Wingman, Scout, and Hemlock. At higher skill levels, Switching becomes a valuable skill in Apex Legends. It enables you to track targets effectively, conserve enough ammunition to switch and track another target, read opponents accurately, acquire them swiftly, and eliminate them. This approach boosts your damage output, uptime, and adds pressure to opposing players.
HOW TO APPROACH EACH TASK & APPLICATIONS
- For all scenarios
- Make an effort to approach the target(s) smoothly and in a clean motion.
- Dynamic Clicking
- Application to Apex
- Improves reading skills, speed, precision, target confirmation and smooth target approaches
- Useful for single-fire weapons such as the Wingman/Scout (click-type weapons) as it improves reading skills and increases consistency of hitting targets with dynamic movements. These are fundamental skills necessary to effectively hit targets on Apex.
- Overhead Clicking
- Quickly acquire each target and click as soon as you’ve confirmed your hit.
- Multi Clicking - ApexTargetClick & Wingman Strafe Dodge
- Application to Apex
- Improves reading skills, speed, click-timing, precision, target confirmation and smooth target re-acquiring
- Useful for single-fire weapons such as the Wingman (click-type weapons) as most targets in Apex Legends need to be hit multiple times in order to be eliminated. Multi Clicking focuses on clicking a high-ttk or invincible target multiple times or constantly in order to practice clicking on erratically moving targets. Isolating this type of aiming with ample repetition helps you build proper click habits that will carry over in-game.
- Acquire, track and read a target’s movement while mimicking its strafes smoothly and clicking it at least 3x times to eliminate it.
- After, move to the next target and repeat the former steps, while keeping transitions smooth and efficient.
- Reactive Tracking -
- Application to Apex
- Improves reading skills, reactivity and reacquisition on blinking or dashing targets.
- Useful for any fully automatic weapons (Volt/R99/Alternator/Flatline/Spitfire/R301) as most targets will be moving erratically and constantly changing directions which you need to react to in order to track them again.
- Hold down fire during the entire duration of the scenario.
- Focus more on the target than your crosshair.
- Try to match the target’s movement instead of chasing after it. Do your best to be smooth and focus on reading the target’s movement, so you can react as soon as possible to any direction changes. Be reactive, not predictive.
- An additional tip is to assume the target won’t change directions, and to only react when it actually does, then smoothly return back to the target.
- Precise Tracking -
- Application to Apex
- Improves reading skills, reactivity and reacquisition on blinking or dashing targets.
- Mostly applicable to fully automatic weapons such as R99, Alternator, Flatline, Spitfire and Volt as most targets will be moving erratically and constantly changing directions which you need to react to in order to track them again.
- Also helps building important tracking fundamentals, including under aiming (tracking to the closer edge of the target), tracking in one smooth motion instead of multiple micro-jitters and smooth reacquisitions when a target changes directions, blinks or dashes.
- Hold down fire during the entire duration of the scenario.
- Move your mouse in one steady motion while matching the target’s speed, try to avoid inefficiencies and jitter.
- Evasive Switching
- Application to Apex
- Improves speed, target acquisition, smooth (re-)acquiring and target confirmation.
- In Apex there will be many opportunities where targets will have varying health while still strafing to dodge you or your teammates, the Evasive Switching scenarios below will help you work on that.
- Useful for all fully automatic weapons, to increase up-time and to make swifter and more accurate target switches. This will as a result increase your damage output and the amount of pressure you can do to opposing players.
- Preferably, hold down fire during the entire duration of the scenario.
- Land your initial flick directly on each target and smoothly track each target to completion. Time your switches to close the margin between the target's elimination and the start of your flick. Smooth transitions from target to target will make reading their movements much easier.
