Introduction
During season 11, with the buff that Blade Fury received, a lot of people decided to play this
build. For some weird reason, a lot of people thought that this build wasn’t viable to level up.
Also, I saw a lot of people struggling to play / gear it correctly. So, I decided to make a
comprehensive guide about this build.
The build is designed to do all content on 1 character, mapping and all ubers bosses up to
tier 2.
Take in consideration that this build is meant to play with dual claws. The reason behind this
is because the Weapon Block is really good for bosses, and also not using shield lets you
invest less points in STR + DEX, so you can invest more on VIT.
If you want to play with Claw + Shield, I recommend you check this guide (It’s more focused
to Blade Sentinel, but you can adapt it to BFury, the gear will be the same most likely):
https://www.reddit.com/r/ProjectDiablo2/comments/1ks8oua/phyx10ns_blade_sentinel_assa
ssin_guide_season_11/
I'm not a HC player, but a lot of people play this build on Hardcore. In gear sections I would
recommend mostly SC gear, so adapt it to more defensive options if you're gonna play
Hardcore.
I highly recommend using the Phyxion Blade Calculator alongside the build. You have to
make a copy of the document to your drive.

How does Dual Wield work?
In theory, your main hand weapon is the first one you equip, and your off hand weapon is the
second you equip, no matter the order. If you switch weapon set (W button as default) and
come back to your main set of weapons, the game will take the claws over your gloves as
main hand. Both Blade Sentinel and Blade Fury only use your main hand to calculate
damage.
Local mods for claws, like Enhanced Damage, Crushing Blow or Deadly Strike are only
taken into account for your Main Weapon.
Global mods like +Skills, All Resistance and Faster Hit Recovery take in consideration
both claws.
Your Attack Speed breakpoints are based on your fastest weapon.
Warning: For Blade Fury there is a major bug about dual wielding. Blade Fury always
considers your faster weapon as your main weapon, so if you have a huge ED claw and a
claw that only gives skills, if the second one is faster, you will lose the damage of the first
one, drastically reducing your damage input.
Update: It seems like it’s only a visual bug on the character sheet. Someone reported to me
that yesterday, and after a couple of tests, it seems that the DPS is working correctly even if
your off hand weapon is faster. Feel free to test it yourself and if you notice something weird,
feel free to contact me on Reddit or Discord.
How does Blade Sentinel work?
Let’s start with the basics. When you cast this skill, a Blade will spawn in your position, then
the blade will move to the position of the cursor at the moment you casted the skill, and will
turn back again to the initial position. This process will repeat for 50 frames. Everytime the
blade turns back, it causes AoE damage around the blade. Each blade does a tick of
damage each 5 frames. At the same time, when an enemy is hitted by a blade, it cannot
receive damage from another blade during 5 frames. Also, the AoE damage when the blade
turns back can only happen once every 12 frames. All of this might sound really technical
and hard to process, but basically what I'm trying to point here is that spamming BS on 1
close target is kinda bad.
The following effects don't work for Blade Sentinel: Crushing Blow, Open Wounds, Ignore
Target Defense, -% Target Defense, Life/Mana Stolen per Hit, Life/Mana After Each Kill
and Chance to Cast on Attack/Striking/Cast. Also, -x% Enemy Physical Resistance
works at half power, so if you have an item with -8% EPR, the blades will pierce only 4%
asapparent. Everything else works as usual.
Blade Sentinel needs Attack Speed, and actually you should aim to get the faster
breakpoint. The BP is the same as laying traps. Here you have a link to a calculator:
http://d2r-sin-ias.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com/
+Skills items usually give more damage than Enhanced Damage or max damage items.
Remember to use the blade calculator in the section “Introduction” to check that out if you
aren’t sure.
How does Blade Fury work?
Blade Fury is more simple than Blade Sentinel, except for developers that must work hard to
make it function properly. Cheers to them. With that being said, Blade Fury still has some
bugs that are hard to fix based on the complexity of how this skill works.
In PD2, Blade Fury has 100% pierce. When a star hits a wall, the projectile divides on other
3 stars, and this can also happen at 50% chance when hitting a mob. For these reasons, this
skill shines on closed maps or against big chunks of mobs, but is weaker on open maps and
low density zones.
Blade Fury is a channeling skill. The wiki said that it has a fixed frame rate for wind-up and
star throw. In reality, Attack Speed affects both (This was confirmed by a dev on Discord,
and you can also test it ingame, it’s really noticeable when you use a very slow weapon vs a
very fast weapon). With that being said, we don’t have the exact breakpoints. The Blade
Calculator in the introduction section has estimated numbers. In general terms, if you have
the max breakpoint for Blade Sentinel, you are cool.
Unlike Blade Sentinel, most effects work for Blade Fury, like Crushing Blow, Cast on
Strike %, all forms of leech, etc. For balance reasons, the leech for both life and mana have
75% efficiency, and the divided stars have 80% less chance to proc on strike skills. Take in
consideration that since it’s a ranged skill, Crushing Blow is globally nerfed (In most cases
worthless unless bossing, but atm I wasn’t able to find a build that hit harder than standard
Blade Sentinel), and -enemy phys resistance works at 50% efficiency.
The Damage Scaling for Blade Fury is kinda the same as Blade Sentinel. In most cases
+skills is better than Enhanced Damage, except in extreme cases like Fortitude.
How does Shadow Warrior work?
In PD2, Shadow Warrior IA got reworked, so it’s really good.
Before you ask, Shadow Warrior is way better than Shadow Master. Master does
whatever she wants. Warrior only use the skills on your LMB and RMB. The skill formula of the
Shadow Warrior is the following: (Shadow Warrior level / 2) + (Skill level /3). So, the
higher points you invest on her, the higher damage she is going to deal.
While she can use Blade Fury, sadly she doesn’t channel it, so BF isn’t a good skill to make
her cast. For that reason, my recommendation is to have Blade Sentinel on both clicks, and
use quick cast to use Blade Fury and buffs. Another alternative is to use Blade Sentinel on
LMB and Cloak of Shadows on RMB, and quick cast everything else.
Levelling
From level 1 to 40
The process to level up from 1 40 is pretty simple. Level up playing the campaign
until 24, make Ancients to level up to 25. Make Baal runs from 25 to 40.
In terms of Skills, since level 6 you have access to Blade Sentinel. The first 5 levels
you can level up with basic attacks or with a skill given by a claw, if you find one. At
level 6, it is recommended to invest 4 points on Claw Mastery, 1 on Burst of Speed
and 1 on Blade Sentinel. Max Blade Sentinel until level 12, and invest 1 point on
Weapon Block and Cloak of Shadows. Keep investing on Blade Sentinel until level
18. At that point you have access to Blade Fury, put 1 point there. You also got
Shadow Warrior, so invest 1 point there too. Finally, you have access to Fade,
which is really useful if you need extra Resist. Put 1 skill point there. After that, you
have to choose to keep investing in Blade Sentinel, or start investing in Blade Fury.
I decided to take the Blade Fury path this season, but max Blade Sentinel first is
also good. In any case, those two skills are the first one to max, so it doesn’t matter
that much. At level 24 you can invest one point on Blade Shield and on level 30, one
point in Venom.
Gear Wise, my recommendation is to make a Lore RW helm, Stealth RW armor and
a RW weapon. Best options are Steel, Malice, Pattern, Strength or King Grace.
Make one of these based on what runes and socketed claws you manage to find. In
the off-hand slot, you can look for a +3 Blade Sentinel or +3 Blade Fury claw. You
can shop on Anya normal if you weren't able to find one. Rest of the gear try to take
magic and rare things with resistance. Maybe you are able to find some cool unique
items on the way. As a general rule, +skills and resistance is what you want.
For Attributes, invest STR and DEX based on the need of your gear, then the rest
on VIT. I usually leave 20 free attribute points while levelling, in case I need to bump
some stat to equip a new piece of gear.
From level 40 to 70
At level 40 you should be ready to start Nightmare. If you feel you lack in gear, you
can farm some cows on normal difficulty until you get some resistance gear or runes.
When you are ready, play the campaign until Baal, and keep doing Baal runs until 70.
Skill wise, you should prioritize investing all 3 blade skills. After that, the
recommendation is to max Claw Mastery. Take in consideration that Blade skills are
bugged and don't receive all the bonus from this passive. Still it’s useful, especially
for the explosions that Blade Sentinel generates when the blade turns back.
You have a couple of options for Gear. If you didn’t already, you can replace Lore
with Wisdom for helmet, and Lionheart for Stealth as armor. For the main weapon,
you can upgrade it with Lawbringer or a rare/crafted claw with high ED. Natalya
Set is cool to have, since it solves a lot of issues about resistance and skills, and also
gives 1 extra shadow. For the rest of gear, try to get as much +Skills and
Resistance you can, and try to get something with Cannot be Frozen. As an
alternative, two items with Half Freeze Duration work as Cannot be Frozen. Rare
rings and boots are the easiest way to make this. Also, having Life/Mana Leech to
sustain with Blade Fury is really nice to have. Take in consideration that you need like
6% or more to be effective enough. Attack Rating is a cool stat to look for, since
Blade Skills tend to miss a lot.
For Attributes, you can finish investing STR and DEX in this gap of level. Your
highest gear requirement should be a War Fist claw. That is 118 STR and DEX, or
108 if it's ETH. I usually just do 118, and later when I have my final gear, I use 1
Akara reset to adjust it to 108. All other points go to VIT.
From level 70+
After this point you are ready for hell.. I guess. Feel free to farm some equipment in
Nightmare if you need it, but if you can afford to do act 1, The Pit is a much better
zone to farm than any Nightmare difficulty zone. Take in consideration that Pit is a
level 85 zone, so maybe if you have really bad gear it might be impossible or just too
slow at first.
For Skills, when you already invested 20 points on all 3 blade skills and Claw
Mastery, you have a couple of options. Invest on Burst of Speed until you get your
max breakpoint for Blade Sentinel. You have the calculator in the section “How does
Blade Sentinel work?”. Then you should look to invest in Weapon Block. I
recommend having at least a 40% skill block. After that, you can level up Shadow
Warrior, or throw more points on BoS / WB. That’s a personal choice.
I will cover Gear in the next section, and keep investing VIT for Attributes.
Skills
20 - Blade Sentinel
20 - Blade Fury
20 - Blade Shield
20 - Claw and Dagger Mastery
1 to X - Burst of Speed
4
1 to X - Weapon Block
1 to X - Shadow Warrior
1 - Fade
1 - Venom
1 - Cloak of Shadows
Optional - Dragon Flight
—---------------------------------------------------------------
Those are the general skill distribution.
Burst of Speed until you reach your higher Breakpoint for Blade Sentinel.
About Weapon Block, you should aim for at least 40% block. Take in consideration that
DEX doesn't increase block with Weapon Block, and increase blocking chance works only
in a ratio 1:5.
Weapon Block also gives Faster Block Rate. The advanced sheet doesn't show the
breakpoints, but basically are 13, 32 and 86. Is easy to achieve 32, and 86 seems just too
high to care about, but not impossible to get.
Dragon Flight is nice to have, but you need to invest 3 points on kicks to unlock it. I usually
do this investment, but it is up to each player to do it or not.
Mercenary
A4 Dark: I highly recommend this mercenary until you manage to get a way to trigger
Amplify Damage. This merc is really strong, it does magic damage and casts Amp
Damage, so is really good to deal with Physical Immunes while doing LoD content. You can
just use this mercenary as the definitive, but i personally prefer others options. Gear him with
Faster Cast Rate and +Skills to make them more effective.
A2 Blessed Aim: My personal choice. As I said, Blade skills have accuracy problems, and
Blessed Aim really helps with that. I give him Lava Gout gloves for Enchant Fire triggers.
Best armor is Templar Might, but is kinda expensive. You can just give him any defensive
armor. For the belt slot, String of Ears is the best one. In the helmet slot, I prefer Vampire
Gaze. In boots, you can give him Marrowalks of Rite of Passage, so he has a source of
Cannot be Frozen. For weapons, I use Reaper’s Toll for the Amp Damage, but if you can
get a source of Amp on other gear, give him a strong weapon.
A5 Might: Since Templar Might is really expensive, if you want to have Might Aura early on,
you can use this mercenary. The gear it’s the same as A2, but for weapons you need Vile
Husk if you want Amp Damage.
A1 Vigor: The last alternative is this mercenary. If you feel that the only thing that stops you
from making faster clean is your move speed, switch to this mercenary. Since this mercenary
is kinda weak, it could die easily in some maps. To avoid this, Xoxo on Discord
recommended Innocence RW + Demon Machine.
Playstyle tips
- Both Blade Sentinel and Blade Fury have different strong and weak points, and
they are very complementary. Understanding this will help you to play smoother.
Blade Fury is really good against big packs, but has a small hitbox and needs
channeling. Blade Sentinel is strong against single enemies and has big hitboxes.
Use Blade Sentinel against strong enemies and bosses, to kill enemies adjacent to
you (You could also cast Blade Sentinel and kite) and against groups of small
creatures. Use Blade Fury against big packs of mobs and if you need to leech
life/mana.
- To avoid hit lock against a single enemy, use the “show items” button while attacking.
By default it is on the left alt. I usually rebind it to a secondary mouse button or to the
spacebar button.
- With the buff to Blade Fury, I consider Fortify Maps a bad idea. You can still make
them if you feel more comfortable doing them.
- While fighting bosses, throw 1 or 2 Blade Sentinel and keep moving all the time.
This will highly improve your survivability.
- Use the walls actively with Blade Fury. Dividing blades hitting walls is really helpful
to clear enemies.
- If you learned Dragon Flight, use it to improve your move. It’s really useful to
increase clear speed. You can throw a Blade before teleporting, so you don’t get
stomped. This is useful when you are on budget gear.
- If you are dying too much, use Fade. But if you can survive without it, use Burst of
Speed. Playing safely with Burst of Speed is better than playing too aggressive with
Fade.
- While bossing, desync could be a pain in the ass. In hotkeys options ingame,
configure your refresh button and press it from time to time.
Farming Zones Pre-Map
The Pit
You can access this zone using the waypoint to Inner Cloister, go back to Tamoe Highlands
and follow the road to the pit. I don’t personally love this zone, but it’s easy to farm, so you
can do some runs until you can effectively do the other zones I will recommend on this
guide.
Halls of the Dead Lv 3
Halls of the Dead have a direct waypoint to Lv 2. It's a level 85 zone and the boss can drop
keys, which are useful to use for yourself or just sell them for currency.
Chaos Sanctuary
You can access this zone through the River of Flame. I highly recommend you to have a Naj
Puzzler or any items with teleport charges. You can also use Dragon Flight if you invested
in that.
It’s a cool zone to farm with phys builds, and you have many elites and Diablo to farm. You
can get some Prime Evil Souls for self use or sell.
Infernal Pit
You can access this zone in Frozen Tundra. It’s placed on one of the three open zone’s. Just
run around the middle zone until you find it. Again, Naj Puzzler and teleport charge are nice
to move you faster.
This zone has increased density and you can find Lucion Key Materials.
Maps
It’s a little hard to determine an exact moment where Mapping is better than farming LoD
zones. Usually, if you can clean a map in less than 10 minutes, then you might be fine. I
usually like to wait until I can do at least sub 8 minutes. So when you find some basic gear,
give it a try.
Like I said in previous sections, Blade skills have bad base Attack Ratings, so any extra
source of plain Attack Rating you manage to find in any gear piece is welcome.
Main Hand Weapons
For budget you can try to craft or trade a 300%+ ED claw. You could also use some unique
weapon like Whispering Mirage or any high ED claw. Jade Talon is also nice if you need
defensive stats.
All unique claws are designed for other builds, so your End-Game weapon must be a
Rare/Crafted Claw with 400%+ ED. +Skills, Deadly Strike, Crushing Blow, Life/Mana
Leech and Amp on Strike are nice to have. Best bases in terms of raw damage are War
Fist, Suwwayyah and Scissors Suwwayyah.
Corruptions: Enhanced Damage / +Skills / 3 sockets with Ohm, Lo or Enhanced
Damage + IAS jewels.
Disclaimer: A lot of people like to use Reaper Toll as their main weapon. I don’t think this is
BiS, but if you still want to try it, don’t invest on Claw Mastery and Weapon Block, instead
Max Burst of Speed.
Off Hand Weapons
You should use a +Skills Claw. At level 75 Anya Nightmare is the best way to find a +6
Blade Fury or +6 Blade Sentinel claw.
Corruptions: +Skills / 3 sockets with QoL gems, like All Resistance or Faster Hit
Recovery.
Switch Weapons
Naj Puzzler is nice for mobility when you start. Demon Limb if you need more AR with the
Enchant Fire buff.
End Game you want Call to Arms + Lidless Wall with +Skill corrupt.
Helmets
For budget any Rare/Crafted Circlet with +2 skills is ok. Also Harlequin Crest and
Steelshade works.
End Game you want a +2 skill Rare/Crafted Circlet with Faster Run Walk and All
Resistances. If it also has Teleport Charges, then you win.
Corruptions: +Skills / Cannot be Frozen / 3 sockets with Um or Enhanced Damage or
QoL jewels.
Armors
For budget just use Lionheart.
End-Game best damage armor is Fortitude. Tyrael Might is also a strong armor, but very
expensive, maybe not worth investing in it, but if you by any chance you could give it a shot.
A Rare/Crafted with +Skills and Enhanced Damage might be better than Fortitude, but
that’s really hard to find. Enigma is really strong If you manage to one shot everything
without the need of a High ED armor.
Corruptions: +Skills / 3 sockets with Enhanced Damage or QoL jewels.
Belts
For budget a Rare/Crafted with resistance is ok.
End-Game Verdungo seems the strongest option.
Corruptions: Max Resistance / All Resistances / Faster Hit Recovery.
Gloves
For budget a Rare/Crafted with resistance and or Increased Attack Speed is ok.
End-Game it's hard to choose one. I prefer Laying on Hands. Soul Drainers are ok.
Ghoulhide is also cool.
Corruptions: Enhanced Damage / Attack Rating / Deadly Strike.
Boots
For budget you have a lot of options. Marrowalk and Rite of Passage are nice if you need
Cannot be Frozen.
Gore Rider and Goblin Toe are strong offensive alternatives.
Corruptions: Faster Run Walk / All Resistance / Faster Hit Recovery.
Amulets
Seraph Hymn is really cheap and BiS. You could use a +2 skill and resistance Rare/Crafted
Amulet until you manage to cap your resistance with other gear.
Corruptions: +Skills / Enhanced Damage / Cannot be Frozen.
Rings
On budget, Rare/Crafted with resistance and Attack Rating are fine. Raven Frost is cheap
and has Cannot be Frozen + Attack Rating. Bul-Kathos Death Band is a strong
alternative.
End Game you want +Skills rings. Wisp Projector, Bul-Kathos Wedding Band or Stone
of Jordan.
Corruptions: All Resistance.
Charms
For Grand Charms you want Trap Skillers. Max Damage doesn't even compete.
Small Charms you should look for All resistance, Faster Hit Recovery and Life.
Of course you need a Sin Torch and Anni corrupted with +Skills.
Uber Ancients, Mini Ubers and Uber Tristram
These fights are kinda easy, so you can even do it on a budget.
For Ancients and Mini Ubers you don't need any special consideration.
For Uber Tristram you should overcap your resistances. Mephisto aura reduces -50% All
res, and Baal Lower Resistance Curse reduces -75%. So you might want to use Fade for
killing these guys, then switch to Burst of Speed to finish Diablo.
Main Weapons
Rare/Crafted Claw with 400%+ ED. +Skills and/or Deadly Strike are strong mods.
Whispering Mirage is really good, since Shadow Warrior can tank them for a long time.
Corruptions: Enhanced Damage / +Skills / 3 sockets with Ohm, Lo or Enhanced
Damage + IAS jewels.
Off Hand Weapons
+6 Blade Sentinel Claws.
Corruptions: +Skills / 3 sockets with QoL gems, like All Resistance or Faster Hit
Recovery.
Switch Weapons
Call to Arms + Lidless Wall with +Skill corrupt.
Helmets
+2 skill Rare/Crafted Circlet with Faster Run Walk and All Resistances.
Corruptions: +Skills / Cannot be Frozen / 3 sockets with Um or Enhanced Damage or
QoL jewels.
Armors
Fortitude is good enough.
Tyrael Might is BiS.
A Rare/Crafted with +Skills and Enhanced Damage might be better than Fortitude.
Corruptions: +Skills / 3 sockets with Enhanced Damage or QoL jewels.
Belts
Verdungo seems the strongest option.
Corruptions: Max Resistance / All Resistances / Faster Hit Recovery.
Gloves
Laying on Hands or Ghoulhide both are good.
Corruptions: Enhanced Damage / Attack Rating / Deadly Strike.
Boots
Marrowalk and Rite of Passage if you need Cannot be Frozen.
Gore Rider and Goblin Toe are strong offensive alternatives.
Corruptions: Faster Run Walk / All Resistance / Faster Hit Recovery.
Amulets
Seraph Hymn is BiS.
Corruptions: +Skills / Enhanced Damage / Cannot be Frozen.
Rings
Raven Frost if you need Cannot be Frozen.
Nature Peace is ok if you need Max Resistance.
Dwarf Star is BiS in this fight.
+Skills rings are kinda ok, but Dwarf Star defensive stats are incredibly strong.
Corruptions: All Resistance / Physical Damage Resistance.
Charms
For Grand Charms Trap Skillers.
Small Charms you should look for All resistance, Faster Hit Recovery and Life.
Sin Torch and Anni corrupted with +Skills.
Rahtma
Main damage source in this fight is Poison and Magic.
Poison is the biggest threat in this fight. Mendeln does a huge ton of poison damage in
phase 1 and 3, so you must max your Poison Resist to 90.
Additionally, you need gear with the mod Reduced Poison Length. The cap is 175%, even
if the advanced stat sheet doesn't show it. You can do the battle with 150% PLR, but if you
can go for 175%, do it.
There aren't many ways to reduce Magic Damage. So if you can fit something, that’s cool.
Still, you can do the fight without any item that reduces Magic Damage, but in that case, you
should be careful with Rathma, and try evading Rathma Skillshots as much as possible.
Cold Damage can be dangerous in the first phase of the battle, but as long as you play with
patience and evade the ice projectile, you will be fine even if you only have 75 Cold Resist.
Mendeln also uses Lower Resist, for a -25 to -33 (Depends on tier) all resistance curse, so
you have to overcap your resist to deal with this.
In this fight you don't need much PDR, but it is recommended to have some, so you don't
have problems with purple Void Knights and with the mob between each boss fight.
Main Weapons
Rare/Crafted Claw with 400%+ ED. +Skills and/or Deadly Strike are strong mods.
Corruptions: Enhanced Damage / +Skills / 3 sockets with Ohm, Lo or Enhanced
Damage + IAS jewels.
Off Hand Weapons
+6 Blade Sentinel Claws. Plague is ok. I don’t personally use it, but a lot of people do.
Corruptions: +Skills / 3 sockets with QoL gems, like All Resistance or Faster Hit
Recovery.
Switch Weapons
Call to Arms + Lidless Wall with +Skill corrupt.
Helmets
Andariel Visage is BiS.
Corruptions: 3 sockets with Gul Rune to Max your Poison Resistance cap or Jah Rune for
more Life.
Armors
You should use a Rare/Crafted armor with Enhanced Damage and/or +Skills. This armor
needs 75% PLR.
Gladiator Bane is a really good alternative, since gives Magic Damage Reduction and
50% PLR
Corruptions: +Skills / 3 sockets with Jah Rune for more Life.
Belts
Verdungo is the best, unless you need PLR. You could get 25% here with a Rare/Crafted.
Corruptions: Max Resistance / All Resistances / Faster Hit Recovery.
Gloves
I use Ghoulhide to kill Void Knight faster, but it’s not a clear best option.
Venom Grip gives Max Poison Resist, which is ok.
Most people use Gravepalm for Deadly Strike.
Corruptions: Enhanced Damage / Attack Rating / Deadly Strike.
Boots
Rare/Crafted with resist, mostly Cold and Poison, and 25% PLR. Sandstorm Trek now
gives Max Poison Resist, so those are good.
Corruptions: Max Poison Resistance.
Amulets
Rare/Crafted with +Skills and 75% PLR.
Corruptions: +Skills / Enhanced Damage / Cannot be Frozen.
Rings
Raven Frost if you need Cannot be Frozen.
Nature Peace is ok if you need Max Resistance.
Rare/Crafted with 25% PLR.
+Skills rings are kinda ok.
Corruptions: All Resistance / Magic Damage Reduced.
Charms
For Grand Charms Trap Skillers.
Small Charms you should look for All resistance, Faster Hit Recovery and Life.
Sin Torch and Anni corrupted with +Skills.
Lucion
In this battle, the main source of elemental damage is Lightning. Lucion also does some
Physical Damage, and his summons does some Fire Damage. So for this fight Max your
Lightning Resist and try to get at least 20%+ PDR.
While this fight is simple, Lucion has a big pool of Life, therefore it is really important to stack
as much damage as possible, unless you want to lose the fight for the lack of potions.
Main Weapons
Rare/Crafted Claw with 400%+ ED. +Skills and/or Deadly Strike are strong mods.
Corruptions: Enhanced Damage / +Skills / 3 sockets with Ohm, Lo or Enhanced
Damage + IAS jewels.
Disclaimer: Since Lucion has a shit ton of Life, for higher tiers, instead of Blade Sentinel,
using Blade Fury with Crushing Blow gear might be better. Still need more tests to be sure.
Off Hand Weapons
+6 Blade Sentinel Claws.
Corruptions: +Skills / 3 sockets with QoL gems, like All Resistance or Faster Hit
Recovery.
Switch Weapons
Call to Arms + Lidless Wall with +Skill corrupt.
Helmets
Vampire Gaze is BiS.
Corruptions: 3 sockets with Lo Rune to Max your Lightning Resistance cap or Jah Rune
for more Life.
Armors
Fortitude is BiS, since it gives Max Lightning Resistance.
Belts
Thundergod Vigor can roll up to 8% Max Lightning Resistance. If you manage to get 90%
with other gear, you can just use Verdungo.
Corruptions: Max Resistance / All Resistances / Faster Hit Recovery.
Gloves
I use Laying on Hands to kill portal summons faster. Gravepalm is also a good alternative
Corruptions: Enhanced Damage / Attack Rating / Deadly Strike.
Boots
This slot is really flexible in this fight. I use Gore Rider for the Deadly Strike. Any defensive
alternative is nice, like Waterwalks for the Faster Block Recovery or Sandstorm Trek for
the Faster Hit Recovery.
Corruptions: Max Lightning Resistance.
Amulets
Seraph Hymn is still the best amulet, even if Lucion isn’t a Demon.
Corruptions: +Skills / Enhanced Damage / Cannot be Frozen.
Rings
Raven Frost if you need Cannot be Frozen. (I actually don’t know if anything frost on this
fight).
Nature Peace is ok if you need Max Resistance.
+Skills rings are strong as always, but Wisp Projector has Lightning Absorb, so it’s the
strongest one for sure.
Corruptions: All Resistance.
Charms
For Grand Charms Trap Skillers.
Small Charms you should look for All resistance, Faster Hit Recovery and Life.
Sin Torch and Anni corrupted with +Skills.
Final Words
I hope this guide will help everyone to solve most of the FAQ asked by the new players. Any
suggestion, critics or hate speech, feel free to leave it on the Reddit post or in Assassin
